'Night Whisper' - July 2023

Toronto-based DJ/producer duo Beije is having a productive year. They’ve racked up over a dozen releases across ten labels in the first half of 2023 alone, including a magnetic remix of Sky Terrace resident Snowedin’s In Keeper’s Keep this spring. This week, they begin the thirteenth edition of Moonlight Mixtapes with the tranquil energy of a Balearic sunset before enticing us to dive deeper into a dichotomy between physicality and transcendence. Reinforced by selections of fresh favorites interspersed with Afro styling, progressive layers, and a scrapbook of found sounds, Beije’s sonic architecture reminds us of the workings of a clock: while each part is unique in shape and function, together they form an organic house journey whose destination is greater than the sum of its parts.

@stan_ego has come a short way since his debut as an organic house music producer. In just one year he has released nearly 100 tracks on well-known labels. His unique style combining melodic rhythms has won him acclaim from fans and industry experts alike.

St.Ego grew up in St. Petersburg, he has always been attracted by electronic music and its ability to create a unique atmosphere. After experimenting with different genres, he found his niche in the Organic House scene, but also continues to compose Chill out and Ambient music. Working together since 2020, they have enjoyed several successful releases to date on labels such as Be Adult Music, Colour & Pitch, Personal Belongings, RYNTH, Where The Shadows Ends, Best Next Thing Recordings, 3Bridge Records, Nordic Voyage Recordings, M-Sol Records, Suprematic Sounds, Equilibrio Records, 3-4-1 Cuts and Nicksher Music. With a string of releases already scheduled for 2024, it promises to be a bright future for Lenz.
 
Their weekly 'Night Whisper' podcast show seemed like the natural progression of what they have been doing and has been running since 2020, and thanks to the help of radio stations like Pure Ibiza Radio, Cafe Mambo Ibiza Radio, Ibiza Global Radio, Bloop Radio London, Beach Radio, Organic Deep House Radio, Boogie Bunker Radio (Tenerife), Estacion Ibiza Radio, Data Transmission Radio, Radio Zoom (Berlin), Graffiti Kings (London) and Like That Underground (Germany), it has developed brilliantly, and helped bring the Lenz sound to all corners of the world. 
 
Atmospheric, raw, and cinematic, Lenz is comfortable taking you on an exciting journey and making you sweat on the dance floor. Never afraid to go too deep, their emotional, dreamy melodies and poetic words will invigorate your mind and soothe your soul.

Having grown up on their individual eclectic combinations of European electronica and synth-infused 80s music … all which became infused with their own love for electronic music, Lenz have ended up with quite a mixed spectrum of musical influence. 

Today, after working together closely these last four years, this translates into DJ sets and production releases where they pick apart and infuse together all the pieces of this music that they love best: beautiful synth work, lush backdrops, brooding basslines combined with Moon Aton’s haunting ethereal vocals… all on top of pronounced foot-shuffling house beats and chilled ambient tones. Together they create the very essence of their signature sound, an emotional and organic contrast of dark and bright, deep, cinematic, genre bending styles, rich in melody and emotion.
