"The fireflies unison flashing is a mesmerising manifestation of order emerging without the instructions of a leader. Fireflies creates an astounding experience by using an algorithm to mimic this natural phenomenon for the first time not only visually, but also sonically.

Fireflies is a large-scale sound and light sculpture that simulates the emergent behaviour of synchronous fireflies. Throughout nature, masses of relatively simple elements can self-organise into behaviours that seem unexpectedly complex."

Oskar a vu le jour en fin d'année 2020, dans le but de créer des rencontres au-delà du genre musical, et de rendre accessible certaines sonorités électroniques réservées aux puristes du genre.
Avec comme première sortie le remix de « Sweet Dreams » par Tupal sur le label Pavillonn, le producteur sort son EP indépendant appelé "Fragments", mélangeant différents univers dans lequel on peut retrouver
les sonorités de ses multiples influences telles que James Blake, Disclosure, ou encore Ivy Lab. C'est suite au succès de ses dernières productions qu'Oskar présente enfin son nouvel EP le 9 juin, tout autant diversifié que le premier, et plus dynamique afin de mettre tout le monde d'accord lors de ses futures représentations.
Ce deuxième projet portant le nom de l'EP "Glow", vise à respecter l'éclectisme que le projet Oskar met en avant. Il est composé de quatre morceaux, dont un en collaboration avec Mathilde de Carne à la voix,
destinés à se rapprocher de l'univers dancefloor à travers des mélodies qui donnent autant à danser qu'à rêver.

we've been in a little hibernation and are really looking forward to presenting you another great mixtape set from 'Magdeburch' for the new year.

after we already released one from @marvelski (LC +022) around easter last year, here comes the counterpart from his wingman @marcoffski, who often play together (then as marcoffski & marvelski aka m&m) - so also at our little mini privale @atomic-chestnut festival last summer in brandenburg - listen here: https://soundcloud.com/atomic-chestnut/marcoffski-marvelski-atomic-chestnut-2023

marcoffski's love of music began in the mid-90s with the hip hop of the time from Germany and, as a logical consequence, the international hip hop scene in France and the US. many of these songs are still an important part of marcoffski's music today. 

the transition to other genres was already fluid back then. due to his environment (friends had a rehearsal room and played punk) the contact and interest in new music was always present. 

Beastie Boys and Rage Against The Machine were later just as often on the tape deck as hip hop. chilling out with friends to good old roots reggae was and still is a never-ending musical constant. 

with the first change of scenery (moving to Dessau to study) other musical genres found their way into marcoffski's understanding of music. soul, funk and jazz were then on his daily playlist as well.

with the decision to move to the state capital Magdeburg, he met many new friends. the new circle of friends consisted of many record collectors and people who also played them in clubs. it wasn't long before marcoffski also had record players at home and started collecting records. 

today, his collection includes all the genres mentioned above and he plays a set to match the occasion.
