Carlos A, in the following EP, shows his high-quality fusion of progressive house with that evolved groove that we are all used to playing on the dance floor. Without a doubt, Carlos is the evolution of the new avant-garde sounds that will give a lot to talk about. This is axiom for the black cat.

Cabizbajo was raised in the infamous, cartel-run city of Culiacan in northwestern Mexico. There was little to no local music scene growing up, but he learned guitar, before going to to sax, drums, vocals and keys, becoming obsessed with synths. Now he travels the world while holding down a residency at his own Rotate party at Bar Americas and has put out his brilliantly inventive disco sounds on NEIN, Logical and Phisica amongst others.
The fantastic title track is a deep and journeying cut with shimmering vocals and sustained pads all colouring in the airwaves above a moody, mysterious bassline. It’s an intriguing opener that gets remixed by Mexican mainstay Dan Solo who works with Tecnicolor Fabrics, Sabino, Xato and as Supercontinent with Thomass Jackson, Theus Mago and Juan Soto. HIs remix is darker and more freaky, with sleazy drum slaps and a rugged bass riff bringing the tension.
Cabizbajo then offers ‘Don’t Wanna Be Cool’, a loose and colourful, tripped out, deep disco jam with vocoder vocals bringing a future retro feel while majestic pads and keys rain down from the cosmos. ‘Cueva’ is the final original, built on a dirty, rugged bassline with all sorts of raw hits and sweeping pads bringing a twisted disco vibe.
Die Jungle is the breakout talent of the year who remixes here after making some serious dance floor killers, reaching the Beatport charts and getting plenty of support along the way. His version is a real chugger, with rock licks and prying bass that really locks you into the groove and will win over the likes of Andrew Weatherall and the ALFOS crew.
This is a fantastic disco offering that brings new life, sounds and styles to the genre.

They initially collaborated in 2002, in New York City, as Soul Dynamics, a live electronic group including some of the city´s jazz musicians. The leap forward takes place in an electronic key with a refined and classy house style that blends genres to become even more seductive and  enveloping. After debuting in 2019 on Pablo Bolívar's label, Seven Villas, followed by an EP on Culprit and another on Hafendisko, with Ghost Clap EP reaping great reviews, they now introduce a new EP, Between Spaces, with it they take a step further into their sound.
The EP quickly captivates with its title track followed by Side Effect, where they demonstrate their skills with the machines; its eclectic, elegant, powerful and magnetic. It then closes with So Far, a beautiful collaboration with handpan musician Shirin, the song adds a magic touch to a duo that knows how to find subtle feelings and soul where other producers left it be. 
To do something great one must shred conventionalities, this is what Basic Need aims for with Between Spaces, and they do so by selecting the best of the past while toying with the present and propelling themselves into the future.

Music has the power to heal and ease our minds during times of trouble and it is in that spirit that we welcome Colossio to the Play Pal Series, an artist we've been following for quite some time and whose sound fits perfect with what we like and release.

He's played at the main clubs in Mexico, regular guest at Topaz Club in Monterrey and have done recently his first tour through Europe. Although he's into a wide range of music, his sound, even at lower bpm than on his usual sets, is definitively club oriented with a driving energy that keeps pushing.

With music out on labels such as Ombra International, Calypso, La Dame Noir, Relish or Duro among many others, and new Ep's coming up on Beat Is Murder and Á Table, he's become one of the most prolific artists of last years and definitively one to watch.

Factor City se enorgullece de presentar a su nuevo fichaje, Durand con sede en Córdoba (España), y presentar su nuevo EP, “Exuvia”. Tres temas originales seguidos de un remix de Cabizbajo.

Durand ha estado conectado a la música electrónica desde muy joven, desarrollando una extensa carrera como dj y promotor y propietario de clubes antes de comenzar a producir su propia música hace solo un par de años. En este tiempo ya ha lanzado dos excelentes eps en Nein Records y otro en Esthetique, interpretados por artistas como The Hacker, Ivan Smagghe o Curses.

Para su debut en Factor City ofrece tres cortes de Dark Disco cósmico, con potentes líneas de bajo modulantes, líneas de sintetizador sórdidas y ritmos y percusión contagiosos. Música de club atemporal con diferentes influencias fusionadas para bailar y sentir el viaje al mismo tiempo.

En los Remixes encontramos Cabizbajo. El productor mexicano está en plena forma como lo demuestra en su fogosa versión de “Crisálida”. Una versión “PseudoDub” simple, hipnótica y consecutiva lista para matar cualquier virus.
