Siluria (The Dudly Bug)
The Silurian period is a geological period 420million years ago. Wrens Nest in Dudley, an old  Industrial Revolution limestone quarry, has revealed some amazing fossils from this period and of  the hundreds of types of fossils found there the most sort after is the trilobite and has the nick name 'Dudley Bug'. During the Silurian period Wrens Nest used to be shallow, warm tropical sea conditions with lots of strange plants, creatures and critters,  swimming about. There is a sea ripple bed that has been fossilized in a rock face that was caused by what would have been a huge tropical storm ...amazing to think that actually happened 100’s of millions of years ago for us to see now…

The first fruits of my new trio, The Engine Room. This is a logical extension of the musical conversation that ended in the late 1980's when first Paul Middleton (drums) and then myself (1991) left the band GOD. Gary Jeff (bass) would remain with GOD until their dissolution in the mid 1990's. The Engine Room are a spontaneous music ensemble that use telepathy and simpatico to create music. This mix of 'Albino Wife' was generously constructed by Simon Smerdon, an old collaborator of mine. We hope to complete the mixing of a full length lps worth of music during 2017. I hope you like this first venture. Thanks for listening.
