Thomas Grün, born in 1981 in Carinthia / Austria, discovered his fascination for music when he was a child. Starting with Pop, Rock, New Wave, and Dance, he was influenced by artists like Richie Hawtin, Jeff Mills, Kevin Saunderson, and also Laurent Garnier and Sven Väth whose music made him switch his style to Techno and House. In 1997, he moved to Vienna and put an ambitious emphasis on his Dj-ing. In the following years he got several bookings both throughout Austria and abroad (Love Parade, Unite Parade, Collosseum Opatia etc.). Since 2005, Thomas is member of the artists’ network Movimiento, which presented artists like Sebo K, Vincenzo and Booka Shade in Vienna’s Roxy Club and the Flex Club. In 2007 Thomas Grün, Aleks Gavric and Philipp Blecha founded the platform CMYK, which successfully established the monthly Club Pompadour at the Camera Club. The Party became the hottest and most popular in town, and Thomas provided warm-ups and closings for artists, such as Tobi Neumann, Guido Schneider, Dj T., and Steve Bug. His style can be defined as very groovy kind of deep-and tech-house. Because of that and his always flowing sets Thomas is often called „Mr.Groove“.

Caracas, early 1980s. A radio flickers on and crackles the introduction to John Paul Young's "Love is in the Air". For one boy, the moment marks the beginning of a life-long love affair with music. 
The pages on a wall calendar fly off in quick succession as the young man, a one Argenis Brito, delves into the world of performance. We see him pick up a bass guitar, adjust a microphone to capture his voice and suit up to front band after phenomenally successful band. But it's at the tail end of this formation, leading up to the turn of the century, that we witness Brito finally come into his own.
Latin, hot-blooded and with decidedly tropical tendencies, our protagonist tries his hand at the bleeps and blops upon which club culture is built—thus becoming a key figure in the cross-pollination between techno music and Latin rhythms. A new underground sound is born, with Brito at the helm. Think Mambotur, Señor Coconut, Los Refrescos and many other rum-fueled collaborations held within the confines of slick studios. These are our main character's playgrounds.
Those playgrounds have long since extended beyond the recording sessions and into some of the world's greatest DJ booths—from Europe to Asia and all of the Americas. Our storied musician and entertainer considers himself on a never-ending quest to learn and delight in equal parts. Which means this story never ends, but is destined always "to be continued..."
These days, Argenis Brito's most impressive musical experiences don't often include radios. But you can bet that when the Venezuelan native is behind a booth working his magic, nobody can deny that love is in the air.

The name "Walram" originates from Old High German, composed of "waltan," meaning "to rule" or "to govern," and "hraban," signifying "raven." Therefore, WalRam can be interpreted as "the ruling raven."

WalRam, like the raven, is associated with the mystical, serving as a bridge between the earthly and magical realms. The raven is a herald, a prophet of transformation and change, and WalRam channels this energy into his music, delivering sounds that transcend time.

WalRam, a passionate music enthusiast since childhood, found solace in music during his twenties when he was disillusioned with society's narrow views. He pursued his passion further and in 2018, completed his Audio Engineering studies at SAE Berlin. He is now developing his unique style while simultaneously growing as an individual, raising his two children.
