SKTCH_D1G1TS' first single of 2014, "Dealer's Choice" pays homage to the late 90's breakbeat/big beat sound popularized by The Crystal Method & Chemical Brothers. The song is dark with hard hitting drums, delayed hi-hats, deep droning bass and dark bouncy synth leads. Produced & recorded on hardware, edited, mixed, & mastered with software.

Dealer's Choice (Demo Edit)

Very first [SKTCH_D1G1TS] single, was originally released as a John Evan D. song on the 2010 Noisic Records Sampler. This track was created using nothing but 5 loops I downloaded, arranged in Sony ACID Home Studio 7, and trashed through my favorite VSTfx plug-in, dBlue Glitch. Another song that came together in a few hours, the sub-bass is pretty high, drums are heavy-rock-disco sounding (think Korn's "Got The Life" beat), and rotary synths created by the Glitch plug-in.

This is a previously unreleased song that I produced and arranged in late 2009, used downloaded loops from Looperman.com and my sample library, ACID Home Studio 7, dBlue-Glitch VSTfx plug-in for the crazy effects.Took approx. 16 hours to complete.

Digital DiscorDance (2010)

Originally released in 2009 as a Lethal Sound Dischord song on their debut "Digital Killed Analog" EP, the track was taken off the album after the first 25 handmade copies because it didn't fit with the rest of the songs, so it was thrown in the trash and dumpster-dived by [S_D]. It has since become a requirement in live [S_D] sets, for it's zany, off-the-wall, heavy-hitting drum n bass beat, grinding synth bass, and video game sound effects which make it sound like [S_D] is fighting a monster, hahaha. Listener Be Warned: this track WILL mess with your head!

Lethal Sound Dischord is the brainchild of Van DeBauche, the founder and CEO of http://soundcloud.com/noisicrecords and his 7 electronic side projects, ranging from multi-genre experimental electronica-  http://soundcloud.com/sktch_d1g1ts , to extremely hyper and off-the-wall hardcore electro punk-http://soundcloud.com/spazmospazmo , to dark, scary, down tempo trip hop- http://soundcloud.com/creeperjones , to digital noise- (Technical Surgery), to instrumental, experimental hard rock- (The Scathen Dischord), to experimental, left-field electronica- (John Evan D.).

Lethal Sound Dischord began in early 2007 after creating a few electronic-punk/thrash beats on a Boss DR-202 drum machine. With no money or resources to record, Evan John D. started crashing local underground DIY punk shows, showing up with the DR-202, a 75-watt Peavey amp, mixer, and microphone, and performing for mere minutes just to get people to listen to the music.

In early 2008, the drum machine was stolen from Evan, but he continued on by creating 3 industrial electronica-noise hiphop songs using only a DigiTech RP-250 guitar processor/drum machine, guitar cable, and a 4-track tape recorder, within 2 days for the official debut LSD release, "The Noise Sessions".

The project has since evolved into professional sounding production, using a simple Digital Audio Workstation, downloaded plug-in instruments and effects, and incorporating heavily manipulated loops and samples.

The second official LSD release was the debut handmade DIY EP "Digital Killed Analog", only 50 copies to date have been made and distributed in the South Eastern, Wisconsin area. This EP pre-dates all Noisic Records releases, and was released under \,,/  (~_~)  \,,/  -an unpronouced character which means "Rock On!"

LSD was put on hiatus in April, 2010 for Evan to concentrate on his newly formed record label and other musical projects, but has since been revived for an official release through Noisic Records.
