Ghost In The Machine (2008)

Lethal Sound Dischord is the brainchild of Van DeBauche, the founder and CEO of http://soundcloud.com/noisicrecords and his 7 electronic side projects, ranging from multi-genre experimental electronica-  http://soundcloud.com/sktch_d1g1ts , to extremely hyper and off-the-wall hardcore electro punk-http://soundcloud.com/spazmospazmo , to dark, scary, down tempo trip hop- http://soundcloud.com/creeperjones , to digital noise- (Technical Surgery), to instrumental, experimental hard rock- (The Scathen Dischord), to experimental, left-field electronica- (John Evan D.).

Lethal Sound Dischord began in early 2007 after creating a few electronic-punk/thrash beats on a Boss DR-202 drum machine. With no money or resources to record, Evan John D. started crashing local underground DIY punk shows, showing up with the DR-202, a 75-watt Peavey amp, mixer, and microphone, and performing for mere minutes just to get people to listen to the music.

In early 2008, the drum machine was stolen from Evan, but he continued on by creating 3 industrial electronica-noise hiphop songs using only a DigiTech RP-250 guitar processor/drum machine, guitar cable, and a 4-track tape recorder, within 2 days for the official debut LSD release, "The Noise Sessions".

The project has since evolved into professional sounding production, using a simple Digital Audio Workstation, downloaded plug-in instruments and effects, and incorporating heavily manipulated loops and samples.

The second official LSD release was the debut handmade DIY EP "Digital Killed Analog", only 50 copies to date have been made and distributed in the South Eastern, Wisconsin area. This EP pre-dates all Noisic Records releases, and was released under \,,/  (~_~)  \,,/  -an unpronouced character which means "Rock On!"

LSD was put on hiatus in April, 2010 for Evan to concentrate on his newly formed record label and other musical projects, but has since been revived for an official release through Noisic Records.
