This mix is basically my goodbye to San Diego - in a couple weeks I’m gonna be moving to San Francisco and the thought of leaving this incredible city I’ve lived in for the past few years is lowkey kinda terrifying. But I know it’s all part of the plan and I guess it’s just one of those things where it doesn’t matter whether you’re ready for the change or not because you have to do it anyways.

Some of these tracks bring back such significant memories that I’d go as far out of my way as possible to avoid listening to them, but starting a new chapter in life means it’s time to let go of the past and be grateful for the memories those songs gave me instead of running away from them, so I said fuck it and threw them in anyways. The L’s turned into lessons, the W’s changed the trajectory of my life, and now I can barely recognize the person I was before I moved here. 

This mix is designed to take you on a journey, the same journey that I went through, and I really hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoyed making it. Here’s to a new name, new city, and a new beginning.
