Phazed Groove (@user-368780665) has been repeatedly popping up on our LV disco radar over the last couple of years with a string of brilliant singles on @tropicaldiscorecords which have repeatedly topped the charts on Traxsource. Far from an overnight success he has put in the long hard hours over the years from being a DMC champion way back in 1989 to signing Pete Tong Supported tracks to Limbo in the mid 90's.

We thought it was high time that we caught up with Phazed Groove for a chat to lift the lid on his intriguing career. He also put together this first class mix for us. With a brand new EP out this week featuring his soaring rework of Sound Experience's 1975 gem 'Got To Keep On The Move' alongside a remix by Theon Bower we thought that it was high time that we got highly rated selector Charles Vaughan in to drop a guest mix for us. The mysterious @frescoedits has become a real go-to label over the last three years, now on it's seventh edition, it's a disco edits label which keeps things firmly on the funky edge of the spectrum. 

Never one to rehash well worn classics the mysterious producer behind the label definitely puts the work in digging deep and continually coming up with real gems.

Ahead of the release of Vol 7, the first volume from other artists, I spoke to Fresco Edits about the label and he also put together a rather tasty live mix for us recorded at the beach in his home town.
