Et si demain nous décidions,
Comme le vent souffle la feuille,
Comme la feuille embrasse le vent,
De nous échapper librement,

Nous prendrions le premier vol,
Comme le vent souffle l’oiseau,
Comme l’oiseau embrasse le vent,
En quête d’un pays d’Orient,

On y trouve d’autres manières,
On y respire d’autres parfums,
Dans la douceur du matin,
Se cachent parfois quelques guerres,

On y trouve de beaux visages,
Parfois marqués par les années,
Mais que le soleil a tanné,
Comme pour effacer leur âge,

On y découvre des villages,
On y entend d’étranges sons,
Dans la douceur du soir qui tombe,
Se cachent parfois quelques orages,

On y traverse des rivages,
Parfois marqués par les années,
Et que le soleil a séché,
Comme pour révéler leur âge,

Et si demain nous décidions,
Comme le vent souffle la feuille,
