Manchester-based imprint Libero Records is quickly becoming a staple in the diet of many underground tech-house appreciators. With a stripped-back approach and rhythmic grooves teeming throughout their already blossoming catalogue of releases, it’s easy to see why the label’s exposure is growing at an exponential rate. 

Label frontmen Mike Morrisey, Luke Welsh and Dan Costello lead the march in pushing the Libero Sound to the masses.

Building around a focus on percussive, minimalist tech-house inspired by concepts like the infamous Music On and artists like Marco Carola, Joseph Capriati, Paco Osuna and many more; Libero’s ethos is centred around the rolling soul of underground dance music. Through the label, as well as regular events and a frequent podcast series, they consistently broadcast their simple yet effective Libero Sound ideology to the farthest corners of the scene.

When someone is born with passion, talent and a magical ear for music, it will undoubtedly be part of them forever. Born in 1998, Cristian Fascelli started performing at the impressionable age of 12 years old. As it always does, it started out as a hobby as he perfected his sound and skill set. Not long after, Cristian then began to break through as an artist. Cristian’s sound is the perfect meeting point between energy and simplicity, with a deep bass that manages to steal the dance floor, spliced with a perfect unpredictable rhythm, it has inspired many and entertained even more. The bass element is the true energy of his productions, with a rhythm built between drumbeats and demanding groove, all blended with angelic lyrics and vocals . The result is a breath taking musical style and generates an intense musical journey with explosive energy.


In August 2018, he was able to produce his Ep called “Blackman” which brought him to the top 10 Tech House international charts. His sets are completely generated towards the dance floor. Innovating, educating and dictating his sound to who may be present. In his sets, as well as in his productions, there are continuous Hip-hop influences, especially in the sounds, melodies and rhythms. The return to these Hip-hop grooves explodes into a complex new harmony. So whether he is playing live or in the studio, you can see that Cristian’s love for electronic music is destined to last forever. Timeless production, mind blowing performances, Cristian Fascelli is certainly one to watch out for.
