Welcome to another Daft Punk special mix of Funks containing tracks from Thomas Bangalter’s label Roulé Records (half of Daft Punk), Cassius, Phoenix and music from the French 'Touch' genre as well as original and remixed Daft Punk material.

The genre referred to as "French touch" also known as "filter house" and "tekfunk", will be the main focus in this mix.

The defining characteristics of the sound are heavy reliance on filter and phaser effects both on and alongside samples from late 1970s and early 1980s American or European disco tracks.

Expect house grooves, deep and funky basslines with filthy electro undertones.

This is a fan created mix with fan created artwork to celebrate the genius of Daft Punk, Roulé Records, Cassius and the French ‘Touch’ genre.
