Nothing seemed to work; she'd tried every suggestion under the sun — medicinal, herbal, holistic... the list went on. Though a few of these familiar and strange remedies had brought momentary relief, it wasn't long before the pain returned in full force. There was just one more option that she had yet to explore, but with this healing power came much risk...

Drawing influence from the uncertain times we've found ourselves in over the last year, Logical Rec bosses Ivan De La Rouch & Mike Sacchetti release their 'Cúrame' EP, which translates from Spanish as ‘Heal Me’. Coming via Play Pal Records, it marks the pair's first outing on the Madrid label and sees them merge hypnotic guitar riffs with analogue electronics, all delivered with a punk attitude. On the flip the two originals get the rework treatment from label affiliate Rigopolar, Italian producer Amarcord, Fucanglong Files boss Mufti and Berlin's Skelesys.

The duo from Guadalajara (Mexico) deliver their EP ‘Storm In A Teacup’, a tribute to acid humor & their fashion, cinema and rock idols/icons.
The release opens with ’Rebecca’, a track unsettling in all aspects, strings out of tune, naughty arpeggios delicately bouncing over psychedelic notes and the highlighted Koto dragging us to perceive the world music fibers. The hilarious and unveiling lyrics with monthly horoscope vibes is born from the main character on Fargo Devianti & Vongold's favorite film ‘Ghost World’.
‘Heather’ on the other hand, is an organic composition that drags us to feel under the influence of a Neopunk Pit on the club. Vongold on her behalf, delivers us some lyrics and vocals as an allegory to clubbing nights, to the banal trend of social media, pop icons viral news and peculiar quotes of 90's movies disguised with electrifying guitars, intriguing melodies and a catchy bass line rescued from the insides of Fargo Devianti elements that will definitely kick up dust on the dance floors.
To close up the EP, there are two remixes included: one of them by 'Trio
Misterio' (project by Azaria, Alvaro Cabana and Lebollet) in which they make a more hypnotic and trippy interpretation of Rebecca's own, while SCADTA's rework (Colombian artist Sergio Iglesias y German producer Tilman Benecke) offers a New Beat / EBM flavored version of the track “Heathers’.

Pipe Up Remixes is a three track EP that aims to explore the ability of the highly acclaimed Kincaid track to evolve through the creations of a carefully selected trio. Benedikt Frey adds his natural, warm elements and innate understanding of percussion to create an intimate, almost erotic feel through his interpretation. This Album, a child of the Shelter Me Festival in December 2020, is in Aid of Shelter UK and the wonderful work they do to helping people with homelessness or difficult housing conditions.
The Festival took place over 3 days, across the 3 cities of Manchester, London and Leeds, and several of the artists who performed live at the event have contributed to this production too.
The track used for the project is entitled Shake Up Your Mind by Steady State which contains a vocal sample of Ofra Haza from her song entitled Im Nin Alu. All remixes were created with the greatest love and respect, with one common goal, to help others less fortunate than ourselves through music, unity and genuine will to make a positive change.
Each and every one of the artists, producers and mastering services have generously given their time freely to create a unique album of 21 remixes, spanning a colourful musical spectrum from Dense Dark Dubbiness, through Timeless Techno and Uplifting Acid, to Squelchy Squalid Chuggers.
This is a limited release with all proceeds going the Shelter Uk.

Farloh has grown well acquainted with London’s rich club scene, he first developed his craft by playing local prestigious venues including The Cause and Brixton Courtyard. Having cut his teeth in bands in his earlier teenage years, he saw inspiration from guitar-based music and then took to crafting a unique club-ready sound in the years to come.
