This week in the series sees the mesmerizing work of Drake Forsyth (https://soundcloud.com/dtforsyth). Trance-inducing; the Seattle DJ has an uncanny knack for gradually putting the listener into a euphoric daze - comparable to descending slowly into warm honey. Yielding brief moments to come up for air, the set’s emphasis leans in to the hypnotic - the changes and transitions delicate. He takes his time, and masterfully so. 

Forsyth is one of the contributing members to Bottom Forty (https://soundcloud.com/bottomforty), an outstanding label, party, and mix series - integral to the city’s underground scene. Additionally, he is launching a new late night party in 2019, Milk Market, in collaboration with another local talent, thEO (https://soundcloud.com/ettuto).

We welcome Syd Woz to the FH mix series, a Canadian born selector who has become an integral part of the Vancouver scene over the last few years, performing in an array of different spots that the vibrant city has to offer.  

After catching our eye through a bunch of beautifully curated mixes circulating the web, it only felt natural that we extended the invitation to @sydwoz to contribute to the series. Sound Advice on n10.as Radio - September 6th 2020

We are pleased to host a mix by one of our favourite creatives in berlin who mesmerises with a mix that touches every corner with heart and uniqueness .

NM DJ is a recording and printing artist based in Berlin. Her vocal practice developed out of writing and reciting poetry at readings organized by TABLOID Press – a publishing house she co-founded with Zoe Darsee in 2014. She has collaborated as a vocalist with musical artists such as Perila, Special Guest DJ, Soho Rezanejad, and Ulla Straus, and in November 2019 performed a live set with exael on Berlin’s HÖR radio. As a designer, she has produced album graphics for labels including wood//work, Experiences Ltd., Uzuri, and Lillerne Tapes.
