Charlotte de Witte & Enrico Sangiuliano have come together to serve up a very personal remix of the hugely influential self-titled classic by Age Of Love. It lands on the original Belgian label Diki Records on August 13th.

Age Of Love wrote and released their most iconic track in 1990. It went on to become a stone-cold dance classic that inspired a whole trance movement that has endured throughout the years. 

The idea to remix 'Age Of Love' started taking shape when KNTXT boss Charlotte was in lockdown with esteemed Italian techno artist Enrico at the end of February last year. As soon as the track was finished, it was played in several live streams and the online community quickly fell in love. The remix bears all the hallmarks of both producers, who between them have a number of Beatport hits and have crafted everything from the darkest drums to the most emotional synths to great effect.

Say Charlotte and Enrico, "It's a very meaningful track for both of us, for various reasons, and it brings back many joyful memories. Remixing such a legendary track was a super fun thing to do, but we noticed how easily and spontaneously we could work together in the studio. We are beyond excited to finally unleash our remix to the world. And this at a time where the world finally seems to be going back to normal. There is no better time for a New Age Of Love. We're ready."

'Age Of Love' (Charlotte de Witte & Enrico Sangiuliano Remix) is a big, driving techno roller. It has heavyweight drums and stripped back percussion which leaves plenty of room for the ionic synth lead and spine-tingling vocals to ring out and really work the crowd into a trance. 

This fantastic remix brings a new perspective to one of dance music's most celebrated and influential tracks.

Last winter, I visited Sooke. One afternoon, just before Christmas, the sea breeze felt strange. A typhoon was approaching. The waves surged fiercely, as if they were about to swallow everything whole. The place where I stayed was right in front of the sea. That day, I stood facing the wild wind, a mix of fear and anticipation swirling within me.

The sound of the ocean whispered like an ancient tale, while dark clouds cloaked the sky, casting a mystical aura over the scene. The crashing waves seemed to break the boundaries of the world, as if urging everything to be reborn anew. In that afternoon's symphony of wind and waves, I felt the raw power of nature and encountered the hidden enchantment within it.

Heyyy guys, last month we kicked off with three back-to-back shows in Ghent with Charlotte de Witte.  At the same time  we released of our first-ever collaboration, including the opening track for this mix—‘One Mind’.

Following that, I’ve chosen  ‘Nasty’ from Franco Smith & TimiR. The reaction to this one in my sets  right now is  crazy so of course, it had to make it into this mix.

Another special  one for me right now Is my unreleased track ‘Club of Extremes’—  I get asked a lot about it - and I’m excited to feature it .

Later in the mix, listen out for a track from AIROD’s new ‘Amnesia’ EP on my label, Exhale. This one has that super emotional end of night vibe I love - it has huge soaring choirs and a huge euphoric drop.

And finally, one of my current favorites—an unreleased  from Até & Salin called ‘Mess’. I love the vocals on this one, and then—BOOM—it just explodes. Such a fun track to play and of course, dance too!
