This is a tune that was planned for an album but, long story short, the hard drive is no more (hell, I did have a backup drive, and I happened to fry it), and I never got to finish this one properly.

Very excited about the release of our fourth reference. We welcome Kiri, who debuts on our label with his second EP called "Gateway to Hell". The Austrian producer already showed his weapons in his first release on the amazing Kurnugû label and now offers us in this new EP 4 tracks full of personality and power including a collaboration with Parasite. Grumpy Halftime/Jungle wrapped with corrosive percussion, sinister bass and apocalyptic atmospheres. Kiri promises to make us vibrate a lot with his Drum & Bass, welcome to his dark hell. The 303 acid rhythm of “Eyes Open” slithers through the smokey underworld, a measured and methodical killer that squeezes the listener tighter and tighter in its grasp

“Violator” goes full Rufige with broken side steps and gooned up stabs setting up speaker knocking thuds and miscreant B Boy atmosphere.

Not content with already laying waste with multiple exhibitions of villainy previously on Droogs and UVB-76, Holsten returns from the depths to inflict more destruction with his latest salvos for Droogs.
“Hidden Figures” blacks out right from the top with insidious pads, phantom force knocks, filthy Reece and a reverberating clock bell that signals the witching hour is upon us.

“Strident” shoots poison darts through the tree line with cascading breakbeats, soundman call outs, more nefarious Reece sweeps and chest out Junglist bravado.

Whilst Black Barrel and Ant TC1 were neighbours in Thailand for a short while, Black Barrel introduced Ant to some unfinished projects from the 90s by Karl Miller.  Immediately impressed by the sound and styles of these original ideas, they both quickly agreed on two tracks to rework which would form a Dispatch Blueprints release. 

Karl Miller and Black Barrel set about finishing these tracks, submitting ideas back and forth between each other to add their own styles and sound to these impressive tracks. Deep, atmospheric jungle music with an unmistakable modern twist.
