Musiknya sederhana, hanya berbaju gitar akustik, dengan sedikit aksen akordeon. Tapi, dibalik kesederhanaan musiknya, terkandung kekuatan besar. Hal yang sama terjadi pada lagu-lagu Bob Dylan atau Iwan Fals saat mereka muda.

Seketika, saya merasa yakin bahwa Silampukau bukan sekedar band biasa. Liriknya mudah dicerna tapi berhasil menguak banyak kisah. Musiknya pun tak kalah bersahaja, tapi tetap bernuansa elegan.
