The band Dead Moon has always been dear to my heart and this version is a tribute to their fearless leader Fred Cole. I learned of Fred’s passing while on tour with The Church and recorded the song in my hotel room with an acoustic guitar, a slide and an ebow. I have kept the song for myself and out of respect for the band and their devout fans  did not want to release it without his wife’s approval. 
I was in shock when I received the kindest email from Toody Cole letting me know that she loved hearing Fred’s words again and that I had her complete blessing. Xo Iris Doe

This song is all about the uncertainty, that comes with being in the early stages of developing a crush on a close friend. It's about going back and forth between being convinced you're falling for each other, and questioning whether the relationship is at a 'red light' or a 'green light'. Making you question what you could do to get to some clarity. It's about that classic weird in-between state of not knowing, but riding the wave to see where it goes. A mellow soul song for the summer feels.

Lights That Change is an alternative ethereal dreampop outfit, hailing from North Wales and headed by Marc Joy. After many years producing other artists, he finally turned his attention towards his own creative endeavours. Thus was born Lights That Change, channeling new energies into sculpting horizons of perfect dreamscapes, primarily based on guitars.
 
Lights That Change released their debut EP ‘Rainbow On Your Shoulder’ in 2013, followed by ‘Whispers in February’ and have received support from BBC, Tom Robinson, and Amazing Radio, among others. 

The debut LP ‘Byzantium’, which includes vocals from Rebecca Palin (Golden Fable) and Mandy Clare, some bass from John Bryan, drum programming from Mal Holmes (Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark)is now available on all online stores.
