// The purpose of this album was to explore and expand on my own sound while experimenting with various genres / musical concepts in the context of cloud / emo rap. These are all very personal songs and deal with topics such as mental illness and addiction, so please keep an open mind while listening to this. In many senses, I had to tear myself down as a human and musician to create this.

> The main production of this project spanned from 17/10/2020 - 19/12/2020
> All works are original and were written / composed / performed / produced by me (Alex / Lil’ Alice).
> The synthesiser patches for this album were synthesised by me.

While the title wasn’t directly named after any drug in particular, the experience with the hat man is a true one. It wasn’t from DPH (although.. I do have experience with that unfortunately lmao - the glass in the rug line is a reference to a very, very strange night), but was from a multi day bender with Adderall and dabs. Anyway, back to what the title means - it’s a reference to a friend who’s been described as drugs but pink. It’s silly but she’s a good friend to me!

Whether it’s on food, fun, clothes, whatever, there’s a lot of stuff to spend money on. I’m not perfect, and neither is this song.

I’m trans btw so while I know that my voice doesn’t sound like a girl’s per say, it’s what I identify as and am. Also dysphoria sux lol.

Oh, and I guess I should explain gamer girl - it’s because video games have been an important part of my life for as long as I can remember, but they’re frustrating as the work you put into them generally doesn’t have any real world output. It’s also awful when you get so depressed that you’re gaming for dopamine.
