Speedmike a eu la gentillesse de me proposer ce très joli morceau de guitare afin de poser une voix dessus. L'inspiration au piano m'est venue rapidement ce qui m'a permis d'écrire le texte.
Cela a été un réel plaisir de travailler sur ce morceau.

Un soir de l’été 1962, Serge Gainsbourg dîne chez son amie Juliette Gréco. Un rendez-vous précieux puisqu'il lui inspire un des standards de la chanson française. Le lendemain, l’auteur envoie à la chanteuse des orchidées et ce titre dont elle crée la première version. Cette ballade aux accents pop évoque le souvenir d’une danse baptisée la Javanaise et d’un amour fugace. « Nous nous aimions le temps d’une chanson » chante à son tour Gainsbourg. Le public boude longtemps ce titre, avant de le redécouvrir dans les années 80. Aujourd’hui, ce tube est celui qui rapporte le plus de droits d’auteur à ses héritiers, au regard du nombre de versions.

One evening in the summer of 1962, Serge Gainsbourg dined with his friend Juliette Gréco. A precious rendezvous since it inspires one of the standards of French song. The next day, the author sends the orchid singer and this title she creates the first version. This ballad with the accents pop evokes the memory of a dance baptized the Javanaise and a fleeting love. "We loved the time of a song," sang Gainsbourg in his turn. The audience long sulked this title, before rediscovering it in the 80s. Today, this tube is the one that brings the most copyright to his heirs, given the number of versions.
