and one of these nights in the year 2002 let the story of Florian Frings, born 21 October 1987 in the city of Linz, come to an eclipse!

Florian went to his first rave and deeply got in to touch with even the soul of Techno as well as he immediately recognized that something inside of him, in companion with this sound blewing his mind that night, needs to find a way out of him!

Nearby he starts to get participated into the world of DJing to tell the crowd about his emotions in electronic beats and the whole clubbing theme he decided to make the main component of his future life!

He did his first steps playing the old school vinyl style, but soon switched to the whole universe of digital sound producing and engineering to enter the next level of art!
 
Collecting experiences in clubs for several years he is now looking back to a deeply founded education with all the injections and ups and downs that made him this characteristically, grounded Technoid he now represents, when you get in touch with him!

In 2009 with moving from the province of Linz to the urban city of Cologne, Florian spread his universe with new social and cultured appliance and he began to found his own network inside the industry!

To found his intentions he studied Audio Engineering @ Deutsche POP (Music School) and focused his energy more and more into producing sounds.

This knowledge he is today giving away in Ableton live workshops @ at the EMS (Electronic Music School) in Cologne.

Together with his early companion and friend Elmar Strathe he founded his own label 5D-Records where he soon releases his first own created mellowed tracks.

A jump to the top he did after, the one and only Richie Hawtin, himself, made his produces a part of his sets in clubs and partys all over the world, and Florian soon became the new PLUS of the big MINUS Family where he is now starting up into higher dimensions and becoming a resident face of the movement!

There is no doubt, artists generate – especially in our scene - hypes occur again and again. Be it a good track or an unforgettable DJ-Set. However, these come and go as quickly as they have emerged. And there is also something happening in this scene, which is quite apparent: It happens relatively fast. In Germany, the motherland of the electronic music, an artist has seldom managed to infringe at the same time upon such widely spread generations and masses. It is not by coincidence, that ideas like „German Techno Master“ (DJ Mag) or countless first grade placings originate in the process of the scene votings. Meanwhile one can also hardly keep up counting his fanclubs, who welcome him with frenetic exultation spreading across the entire republic and far beyond.

Erik Erixon is a musically versatile artist who likes to get lost in his electronic worlds, taking in freely all types of influences from different genres and incorporating them into his DJ Sets and productions. In spite of this, his heart beats strongly for the Cologne Techno Szene and all other variations of electronic music culture.

When I was born, television was not as much of a big deal as it is nowadays (back then, there were only three programs). Thus, the TV was not switched on until evening hours, when I was already in bed. My mom, who was quite young, listened to music non-stop. I noticed that this situation has not failed to leave a mark on me. When I was twelve years old, my mom had another baby boy, which entailed that I never got to enjoy my own room. It was not easy for me, especially being a teen-ager. Music helped me to cope with that situation! My stereo and my great head-set helped me create my own room in my imagination. Usually, when kids want to be left alone, they go to their room and lock the door! I used to put my headset on, turned on the music and I drifted into my dream world and did not care about the rest of the world. The longer the speech, the less thought: Since always, music has played a major role in my life!
I was introduced to electronic music in the early 1990’. Shortly after getting to know Culture Beat, 2Unlimited, Marusha, U96 and Scooter (Hyper Hyper), I started getting into Techno and House!
In 1995, when I was just 16 years old, I discovered a night-club where I used to sneak in. I was still minor of age. It was the so-called TOR 3 in Düsseldorf!! Wow, what an amazing club!!! People who remember this place know what I am talking about…this was it! I was in love!!! My life consisted of nothing else but school and TOR 3. I went there every weekend for 6 month! After that, it was shut down and was only opened for special events, for instance, UNION RAVE or ACID WARS! I was terribly sad!
Although dj’s were like gods to me, I didn’t think of becoming a dj back then. In the beginning, it was just about the party for me. It was until that day when my best friend met her new boy-friend back then in 2004. He is the first dj whom I got to know in person. I regularly watched him play music. That’s how I got more interested in becoming a dj. I was amazed and thought I will be able to do the same. By the end of 2005, I had saved up enough money to buy myself my own equipment (2MK2 + DENON soundmixer) at the music store!
After having understood the basics of playing music, I gained experience with live dj’s at friends’ houses until the year of 2009! And then finally in 2009, I was the opening dj at a public party at KOLBHALLE !!! It is hard to imagine, how nervous I was!!! Luckily, the club was filled from the very beginning, since it was somebody’s birthday at that party. After having played the first three disks without having made a mistake, I went from a feeling of being nervous to a feeling of pure adrenaline and I rocked the house! After that I played at BUTAN CLUB Wuppertal,RHEINGOLD Düsseldorf,FEIER RHEIN OPEN AIR, BLUMENGOLD, KUNSTPARK,AXA-Hochhaus, PFORT XI, NEU SCHWANSTEIN AND MANY MORE....

Joel Mull's career spans over three decades. With a background studying classical music, singing in choirs and playing in bands, Joel found electronic music at a young age as a source of freedom. His first experience came from DJ’ing in the chill-out areas of rave parties in his native Stockholm during the early 90’s.
With his roots from Germany, Hamburg, he moved to the city in 1994, and worked as a resident DJ for 3 years at one of the biggest techno clubs in Germany, Unit Club. This was an important period for him and as a DJ; It taught him how to control the energy of the night on the dance floor, from warm up sets to 10h marathon sets.

With releases on music labels worldwide along with Cari Lekebusch, Robert Leiner, Adam Beyer and Jesper Dahlbäck he counts to the first wave of Swedish techno producer who became known around the world as the "Swedish techno sound".
He has produced over 100 releases and under various names such as Icarus, Gotzkowsky and most recent under his alias Damm.
He often refers to himself and his craft as a sound architect, and if you’ve ever experienced his club sets, you’ll understand why.
Under his ambient and electronica alias Damm, Joel revives one of his earliest aliases and expands upon this discipline even further.
