Fanzine Project invites Raphlex ! 

Raphlex is a young man from Malaga who is passionate about music in general and has put his passion for electronic music into practice. After several years of exploring styles, artists, and record labels, he opts for a wide variety rather than focusing on a single BPM range. In his dynamic sets, you can hear everything from electro to IDM, including techno, EBM, and break.  His record collection is growing little by little, but not more than his desire to grow in the field of production. 

He promotes a series of events in his city. He is the founder of the record label Undancel Records and a member of the Elektropedia Analog Kollective collective. And this month, he is on Line Out Radio with a blend of electro, break and broken techno vibes !

Fanzine Project is a record label, a school and a booking agency run by artists and teachers, based in A Coruña, Galicia, Spain : Roi, Pablo and Lefrenk. Two goals have been guiding their destiny since 2008 : to promote awareness, expansion and accessibility of electronic music in their city, and to encourage an avant-garde cultural scene through different projects and approaches.

Their obsession is to generate a native cultural ecosystem with local roots and global reach. This ecosystem includes their most organic platform, Fanzine Records, to the production of multiple events that culminate in the FanzineFest, as well as their Fanzine School as a teaching platform to seed talent.

VARIA is pleased to present the next episode in its podcast series, featuring Maemm.

Based in Paris, Maemm builds her sets as immersive journeys, where hypnotic techno blends with ambient textures and subtle psychedelic shades. Her deep curiosity and constant search for new sounds shape a musical identity in perpetual evolution.

She has performed alongside renowned artists and played in respected venues, including the legendary Berghain.

In 2021, she co-founded La Taquinerie, a collective dedicated to ambient and downtempo experiences, merging video art and poetry. For two years, the collective held a residency at La Gare / Le Gore, curating Thursday nights with a singular artistic vision.

This episode continues VARIA’s mission: championing considered electronic expression and lasting artistry.

A dj and producer born and raised in the south of Italy, where his interest in electronic music grew alongside his collection. 
At 17 years old, he made the decision to move to London, where he was influenced by the city’s vibrant London Underground techno scene. 
This experience sparked his passion for exploring hypnotic and old school sounds.

“For me, DJing is not just about discovering the music you want to deliver. It’s also about having knowledge of music genre, history and understanding the structure of sounds, which are what truly define a DJ.”

Gianmarco is also a co-founder and resident of Polyritmica.

His sets take listeners on an immersive journey through raw, deep, and driving hypnotic techno. With constant layering and skilful blending the best of both old-school and new-school elements, he crafts a distinctive sound that strikes a perfect balance between nostalgia and innovation.
