Berlin Oriental Group was created in a time of great mix of nations at the crossroad of east and west. Like a salt-sprinkling chef they throw an Arabic-oriental rhythms and melodies, distorted guitars and electronic sounds into the melting pot and boiling it on a high fire of Berliner party spirit. The source of their inspiration comes from Mediterranean, Arabic and Balkan music as well as Funk, Rock, and Electro. They obey the principals of the Middle-Eastern hospitality and happily open the door to an artistic collaboration, so you will always see an exciting guest singers, belly-dancers and instrumentalists joining them on stage. The outcome of this multicultural mix is a rallying call for the dance floor and an ultimate answer to the question – what happens when oriental music meets Berlin.
