I was a guitarist/vocalist & later on bassist for 10 or 11? years with Norwich based alt-rock band KunK. During that time i had many experiences & the band achieved quite a lot including 3 UK tours, radio play including Radio 1, XFM (now Radio X), Kerrang!, KEXP Seattle, WNYE New York, KDLD Los Angeles, songs on MTV shows  All That Rocks, The Real World, Keeping Up With The Kardashians, & Bad Girls Club​ as well as sharing the stage with the likes of The Subways, Twin Atlantic, Ed Sheeran, The Stranglers, The Airborne Toxic Event, Nine Black Alps & Baddies. I learned a lot about the music industry during my time in KunK & was also fortunate enough to spend studio time with some great audio engineers, producers & mastering engineers such as David Pye, Jack Ruston, Paul Tipler, Doug Shearer & Ed Woods. Writing & recording was always the most exciting part about being in a band for me. In fact the band initially began as a home recording project with my brother way back in the late 90's using an old Fostex 4 track tape machine, a Yamaha mixng console, a Shure SM57 & a crappy £15 karaoke mic with a sock over it. It wasn't until 2009 though when i bought a brand new macbook with Logic 9 installed that i started to become curious about how to use a compressor or a reverb properly.  Fast forward to today & here i am excited to be offering my services, experience & contacts to you.

The Perps are an Indie/Alternative Rock band from Manchester UK, comprised of:

Formed in 2018, we have spent the past 4 years writing, recording, and gigging our music throughout the UK.  Despite the chokehold of a global pandemic, we were determined to keep momentum ticking.  It was an industry wide struggle, but through zoom calls, masked video shoots and mobile recording sessions, we pushed on in any way restrictions would allow.  We now 7 releases on all major streaming platforms, 5 of which compose our debut EP W.A.L.K.  2022 was a huge year for the band as we have become Glastonbury Emerging Talent Finalists, and are thrilled to announce our new agreement with label; Golden Robot Records.  Recording for EP 2 is well underway, and with the backing from the label we’re confident this release later in 2023 will push us to the next level.  We have multiple live shows planned for the year and hope to begin plans for a tour in the summer.

Young Astronauts Club is a stadium rock group featuring singer / songwriter / guitarist / multi-instrumentalist / producer Mic (Michael James Macintosh), singer / songwriter / keyboardist / multi-instrumentalist / producer Krs (Crystal Dawn Macintosh) and a continuously active, rotating cast of musicians, vocalists, producers, sonic / visual artists and remixers. As primogenitures of post rock, their collective mission is to continue to bring music forward, into the 21st century and beyond.
