City Lights is the sophomore album from Max Cruise with nine original tracks inspired by the sounds and vibe of the '80s from up-tempo synth pop and synthwave-esque instrumental numbers to powerful heartfelt ballads. This release features the vocal talents of Pat DiMeo (The Motion Epic), Alessandra Gonzalez and guitar extraordinaire Jesse "Sparkee" Allen.

Produced by Benjamin Harrison and Alessandra Gonzalez, the album was mixed by Ben Wood at Delta King Studios and mastered by Ben Feggans at Studios 301 in Sydney, Australia.

Max Cruise is a project by Australian multi-instrumentalist producer Benjamin Harrison combining his deep love of the nostalgic synth-driven sounds of the '80s with modern production values and epic saxophone/guitar solos.

Decided to try out a differnt workflow setup for this track by creating only 5 synth tracks in my DAW and purely using those to create everything you hear.  The video footage is from an English documentary series called the Electric Office.

Liquid Modern seeks to imbue the nostalgia of the past with the feelings of remorse and sadness that should accompany them. The raw, airy vocals and smooth electronic sounds created by this husband and wife duo of Lord Kojak and Kojette seek to bring emotion into soulless pop tunes. 



Whether it is their reimagining of classic songs or the forward thinking production of their originals, Liquid Modern will not be complacent in one genre as there is a world of musical styles to explore!

Liquid Modern has recently concentrated on creating downtempo electronic covers of 90s pop tunes and stripping away the facades of pop sensibilities to create a more accurate and sustainable view of the past.  A network of influences blend effortlessly through each and every note.
