A much anticipated and previously unreleased (until now) version of Gerra & Stone's "Release My Soul". This is a track that was discussed as a potenital candidate towards Gerra & Stones forthcoming debut album on Dispatch Recordings entitled 'Polarism' (see below) but at the same time we also felt we didn't want to make people wait any longer on this as it's a version of this track so many people have emailed and messaged us about over the past few months or so with the request to make it available in some way.  We are happy to present this as a free DL (link to DL above the player file or at the bottom of this description further down).

Somewhere deep in the Surrey hills, armed only with a laptop, a few choice records and a bucket load of creativity and ambition Peter Goebel AKA Arkaik began his career within drum and bass. Fast forward 15 years and Arkaik has since become a pioneer for the stripped back and half time sound. Berlin based duo Survey are regular contributors to the Dispatch back catalogue, having featured on collaborative releases with Kolectiv, Tephra & Arkoze, M-zine & Scepticz and releasing two of their own EPs on Dispatch Limited, 2017s Sidewalks EP and 2018s Basic Motion EP.

DIS143 sees their solo Dispatch Recordings EP debut for the Life Cycle EP – fives tracks of their own signature sound, finely detailed, textural experimentation with rolling drums and bass. Be it the rugged dancefloor energy of “Far Gone”, or the nostalgic, explorative title track “Life Cycle”

“Sensory”, a collaboration with Phase, originally started life as a Phase remix of another Survey tune, they liked the original elements so much they stripped out the remix stems and worked it into the heavyweight beast you find on this EP.

Intelligent jungle-inspired track at the time of its inception on the scene. Fully loaded with tammorra drum samples, tango riffs and evolving progressive synths, this track floats into a deep bassline cloud and runs like a high-speed train punctuated by a collection of chopped fireworks recorded during 1996 New Year's Eve in Naples.
