Following on from last weeks 'The Unified Field' release on Dragonfly Records, we present for you 'Light of Unity' by Gabriel Le Mar. This full length album brings together some spectacular legends in our scene: Youth, Andy Falconer, Ace Ventura, Ajja, Jossie Telch, Dr. Motte & Jörn Elling Wuttke, DF Tram, DM-Theory & Groovetitan and hosts several of the same productions from the Dragonfly release, but this time 'In Dub!'

Downtempo, eclectic and early electronica grooves are the end product of this collaborative effort bringing many of the scenes finest labels and musicians together in one place to show how we are all connected and united by music. No borders, no boundaries.. remembering we are all one!

My Boom set is now live via SoundCloud!

This set moves between all original live moments and music I love and back. I feel so lucky to have had the chance to play this festival and am ever grateful to those who entrusted me with a 3.5-hour journey into the sunrise.

It was my first Boom and I had heard many things about this festival, and feel so lucky to have experienced its magic. People have a lot of opinions on large festivals,there's always going to be smaller, more unique places to be,but I was blown away by Boom. I spent much of the 3 days I was there roaming alone, marveling at the spectacle of such a place. I'm mostly introverted, and these places often aren't my first choice to hang out, but I had a ball at Boom.

Thanks to everyone who danced into the morning, it was so special, I hope this recording can be a memoir of your first evening at Boom <3

About the tape: Quite a few rare gems in this one and a rework of my own in the end. A journey for the dancers. Heats you up so start taking those extra layers of clothing out. 

As the Soundcloud's "earn-with-your-music" -policy and interface changed, this platform hasn't had too much to do with actually good music. It's the pre-chewed multi-produced "banger"-filled tapes that get any attention which then are reposted among "partners" aka people who repost your tracks and so on.

And if you happen to play over an hour.... Ain't nobody got time for that! Music has turned into a dopamine-inducing drug that's sole purpose seems to be a quick fix. But as anyone experienced knows, it's not about the quick fix, it's about playing the long game for maximum pleasure. You need time and energy to immerse yourself into dance music, it's not something to listen on the side. I mean, I do it all the time but if there's a mix from an artist I really look up to or I'm interested about, I wanna take a good position on the couch and totally immerse myself into that creation.

It's been like this for a while now and the same issue is destroying the dance floor culture. I mean, I haven't been around the scene for so long that I could wholeheartedly say that I've seen what it used to be. But I've been wearing a few pairs of shoes on the dance floor since 2010, always hitting the afters and having one gear: go! I spent 10 years on the floor before hitting the decks myself and as it hasn't made me any wiser (or maybe it has, who knows) at least it has given be a good foundation on what might work and what might not. 

So what I can say from my own experience is that pretty much everything has turned into... not too great. The tracks are produced as if they were meat products: nobody needs that much but somehow the shit sells.

If you're a DJ, I have some news for you. All the good music is already made, just dig deeper. And at the same, all the good music definitely hasn't been produced yet. So once again, dig deeper.

Closing the Haven stage in a Grounding Session style at MNMT festival 2025. Grateful to share my first live set ever. 

Performed with Korg Electribe 2 groove box, Roland Rc-300 looper and NUX delay & reverb pedal. The set has been slightly mixed for a more pleasant listening experience.  Sit back, relax and ground yourself as we did a late night in the forgotten valley.

When November’s first grey, misty days drift in, I start to bloom. Minor, to me, is comfort and quiet bliss— a kind of longing that doesn’t need to be fulfilled, because the longing itself is the beauty.
