PHILIPP GRETER is a genius. He is not only the keyboardist of the acclaimed swiss Dub band
DUB SPENCER & TRANCE HILL he is also the producer and mastermind behind the band and responsible for the crisp project ‘William S. Burroughs In Dub’.  Philipp has worked with and for The Young Gods, Yello mastermind Dieter Meier, Lee Scratch Perry, dub-maestro Gaudi,
Tim Bran of Dreadzone amongst many others. 

‘Greter Than Dub’ is being released on Liquid Sound Design, the psychedelic dub label of
Grammy Award winning producer MARTIN 'YOUTH' GLOVER: highly respected songwriter/producer, sonic pioneer, and founder and bassist of Killing Joke.

As we know that DUB is not any longer a genre specific branding in the world of sound effects and musical vibe with offbeat flavour – it is  growing constantly and ‘Greter Than Dub’ ends in this world and feels like a deconstructed version of minimal tech house inna ambient style. Almost everything on this album is grooving, swinging, vibrating and echoing in delay. It is not only an album for the dancefloor it is also a soundscape travel for the comfortable sofa trip. After his first solo album on hybrid records (the label from UMBERTO ECHO) in 2019;  ‘Greter Than Dub’ is the logical consequence of progress and quality and feels like harmonic reflections and healing moments of what´s going on in this dubby world…! We are honoured to continue our Chill Space Mix Series and next installment of our 'Halloween in Chill' edition from a very special guest: the legendary music producer YOUTH.

Martin 'Youth' Glover is a pioneer in the revolution of our psychedelic electronic music scene, having founded both Liquid Sound Design & Dragonfly Records and giving birth to the rich scene we now call our 'psy' scene. The two labels are credited for being, quite arguably, the first to release psychedelic dub & goa trance, started at the legendary Butterfly Studios in Brixton, where so many labels and artists formed and defined their acts. Flying Rhino, TIP, Twisted... not to mention of course the seminal Dragonfly Records, with the first definitive trance album series Order Odonata. 

Expect to hear much more from Liquid Sound Design these coming months as we are pleased to say they will be joining the Chill Space family fold.

Hi all, been a while since my last release so it brings me great pleasure to be able to share with you this single track for my good friends at Wobbly Records. 

The Wobbly records guys have been unbelievably good to me over the years and i've played for them countless times. They even organised my album launch party! So when they asked if I had anything I could contribute to their next compilation it would have been rude to say no! Their remit for the compilation was 'techy' haha, so i tried my best to make this track in keeping with the techno and minimal vibes they were going for. Plus this track will be released on vinyl alongside some of the best producers out there, having an actual record printed is a first for me so that's very exciting.
