Palosant0 is an activist and genre-shifting DJ known for introspective, uplifting and spiritual dance music. Born and raised in the SF Bay Area, with training in classical piano and percussion, his first exposure to the art of DJing was through Mark Farina's Mushroom Jazz followed by the signature San Francisco vibes of Nude Tempo One by Miguel Migs. With deep house it was love at first sound, a love that has only grown over his two decades on the decks.

He has performed in a wide range of underground venues where the music comes first — from opening for Lee Burridge at Burning Man, to block parties in West Oakland supporting original Black Panther "Aunti" Frances and the Self-Help Hunger Program, to a series of renegade dance parties around Lake Merritt in Oakland.

Recognizing that music is a universal language, he weaves hypnotic and multi-layered sets from diverse and often unpredictable influences. One mixtape might take you on a journey through soul, RnB, 90s hip-hop, tribal, afrobeat, jazz, pop remixes, and Chopin. He is constantly expanding his musical horizons and recently ventured into songwriting, rapping, and production — always dedicated to the power of sound to heal, to inspire, and to help us remember who we are.
