“A constant in this album is the influence I take from my childhood. Some very fond memories of mine are celebrating Carnival with my Peruvian step-father and his family and I remember being fully engulfed by the music, the culture and the people. I take that with me everywhere I go. A combination of these childhood memories and my late teens spent in Germany, where my mothers side of the family are from, has resulted in the sound you hear today.
