So now I say that was a form of unconscious therapy, but all I knew was that I felt raised; I felt lifted. So I loved to dance all of a sudden. An D.Atman, DJ and Producer from Montevideo, Uruguay. Co Founder of Kaizoku Beats Recordings. Starting as DJ on 2004, influenced by DJ's like Mark Farina, Dj Sneak, Derric Cater, JT Donaldson. His passion for House Music make him start diggin on the digital stores to find the best House Music groove. On 2005 he started as a DJ on the undergrond uruguayan scene. Playing at the most important clubs and festivals. Now at days, he focused on the production, also is doing a duo called StrainHouse with his brother Alex Maiz, co founder of Kaizoku Beats Recordings, Dj and producer too. Releasing albums on MoodyHouse Recordings and Kaizoku Beats Recordings at the moment.

From the old school of originally 2 Omnitronic DD2250 turntables and DJM300 mixer to Technics SL1210 Mk5s to CDJ50s then to the classic CDJ1000MK3's and DJM800 I now roll with a Pioneer DDJ controller. Heavily influenced by Funky/Jackin/Soul House and the likes of Mark Farina, Derrick Carter, Carl Cox, Andy Riley & Inland Knights. I stay true to my likes and share as much to all as I can...I try to get out and DJ live sets whenever I can in and around Auckland, New Zealand. House Salad Music/Keeping it underground....
