Deejay/producer, Chicago House purist, JR From Dallas draws his influences from jackin, deep and tech-house, but keeping that 90's house oldschool beat.

His tracks have been played by the finest's underground house djs such as Mark Farina, Phil Weeks, Hector Moralez, 1200 Warriors, Nick Holder, Roger Sanchez …

In 2007, he launches his label GOURMAND MUSIC RECORDINGS signing essentially american artists but also european talents. Gourmand's roster includes Giano, Cubase Dan, Tommy Largo, Bart Ricardo, Masss and Dave Dubbz just to name a few.

In 2011, Phil Weeks discovers him and signs him to Robsoul Recordings where he released a successful EP. That same year, JR From Dallas entered the family of the legendary american label TANGO RECORDINGS

Little Routine #48  - Darius Kramer - Vancourcer,BC  

Darius is a self proclaimed "House Addict". He fell in love with the house sound as a teenager living in Montreal back in the early '90s when he would stay up late on Friday nights and record a dance mix show on Montreal radio. He was hooked from then on. He then proceeded to start mixing with one tape deck and a cassette player and never looked back. When he moved to Vancouver in the late '90's, he started buying records almost daily and spent most of his free time at his favourite record stores at the time, Bassix and Mekanix records. Over the next few years, Darius held various residencies and even ran 2 club nights in Vancouver, playing alongside such talent as Lawnchair Generals and Johnny Fiasco, as well as playing at numerous after hours and raves. Today, Darius is happily married with a young son, but his love for house music hasn't died. He is still busy putting out mixes and in 2015 is doing some exclusive guest mixes for International house collectives such as Little Routine in France, and Reason2Funk in England. His sets have been described as "organic" and his love for jazz is prevalent in all of his mixes.

In the ever changing illustration of what symbolizes house music today, a young entrant from Macedonia, Alek Soltirov, has immersed the uncompromising sounds of hip hop, old school funk and soul and crafted into his own signature house blend. His production trademark is by resampling the behemoths such as Patrice Rushen, Al Green, George Benson, James Brown, Dr. Dre, Tupac, resulting in an intrinsic funky house sound. Moreover, Alek is not afraid to demonstrate his own independent interpretation of deep and funky driven house. As such, his impressive portfolio has been recognized by the likes of Mark Farina, DJ Sneak, Doc Link, Dj Heather on multiple occasions.

2010 was the year that put things in perspective. Chicago and deep house captured his attention and later became the very inspiration of his deep and groove sound. Frankie Knuckles, Derrick Carter, Mark Farina, Tommy Largo, Delano Smith, Kerri Chandler, Miguel Migs were the few visionaries that ignited his production efforts in 2013.

Infused with distinct techniques that gush contentment, Alek’s production leaves relentless energy on the house music paradigm. Despite his young age, the maturity of Alek Soltirov’s output is evident and unceasing on labels such as Salted Music, Fogbank Recordings, Good For You Records, Mind Medicine, Emby, Doin Work Records, Whitebeard Recordings-Chicago, Fullhouse Digital, Home Again Recordings Digital, Different Attitudes, King Street Sounds, Juiced Music, Greenhouse Recordings, Mjuzieekal Education, Pocket Jacks Trax, Mikita Skyy, Cruise Music, Grin Music. Overall, his eclectic music approach speaks for itself. No wonder Alek’s releases have been charted by Joey Negro, Shur-I-Kan, DJ Mes, Kenny Summit just to name a few!

Number9 first became exposed to underground dance music in the mid 90’s while attending Eastern Michigan University on a golf scholarship. Frequenting Detroit warehouse parties on the weekends - as well as the now legendary club Motor - exposed him to a sound and scene unlike any other.

National and International DJ talent poured through Detroit on a weekly basis tuning Number9 into the underground house sounds of Chicago, the west coast, and around the world. Drawing heavy influences from artists such as Mark Farina, Derrick Carter, DJ Sneak, and DJ Dan helped to shape his own sound and style as a dj.

As part of popular house collective Souldega Music, Number9 eventually decided to branch out from the group. In 2004, he and a friend formed Pitchslap Music with the intent of exposing Detroit to the new school house sounds that were getting play in many other big cities, but had little representation in Detroit.

Holding down several residencies, throwing one-off parties, and playing gigs all across metro Detroit, Pitchslap brought a fresh sound and style, quickly becoming the go-to DJs for deep, funky house with a tech edge.

Number9 soon gained recognition in Detroit and respect among his peers with his seamless mixing and exceptional track selection. Throughout the years, Number9 has played virtually every major club in Detroit and the surrounding area. He has held down residencies at infamous electronic music venues such as the Works (“Departure”), Corktown Tavern (“Hot House”), Foran’s, The Buddha Lounge, and the Necto - also making stops in Las Vegas (“Soulkitchen”), Toronto, Cleveland, and Kentucky. In ’06 and ’08, Number 9 played at the DEMF/Movement Festival, one of the world’s premiere electronic music events.

These gigs have given him the opportunity to open for some of the biggest names in House including Derrick Carter, DJ Sneak, DJ Dan, “Evil” Eddie Richards, Justin Long, JT Donaldson, The Sound Republic, John Larner, Slater Hogan, Chris Grant, Chuck Daniels, Slum Science, Dan X, Lady D, and Mike Huckaby to name a few.

Always pushing forward, seeking the hottest tracks and perfecting a style of smooth blends with an attention to detail, Number9 continues to deliver an exceptional brand of House music. Having recently relocated to South Florida he is looking to share his passion with a new audience

In 2011 he puts his suitcases in Mulhouse and 3 years later he founded his Label US MUSIC. Dj born in 1988 in Ferrol (Galicia, Spain). Its highest devotion is funk, jackin 'Chicago house and a style mixer intense, dynamic, technical, based on tricks, track sets and effects, combining techniques like scratching and turntablists beatjugling in their blends due to its roots of hiphop.
His sessions have been played on American radio stations like Chicago House FM (Minneapolis) and Phillynitesradio (Philadelphia), in addition to developing other sets no less important for other groups of underground culture and record labels like "Little Routine Series" (France), "Reason2Funk Records "(United Kingdom)," in Da House Cast "(Chile)," Select Music "and the great" House Salad "(both of Mexico). In Spain also has podcast "12 inch", "Uyeney records", "Magnetic NetLabel" and the website "www.djsonline.es".
It also has shared the bill at some clubs of his region with artists the likes of Gayle San, Christian Smith, Joseph Capriati, etc ... It is currently developing in the world of production to create their own sound.
