Must Get There marks the debut for Majestique on Eskimo Recordings. The original is situated in that wide area we call “disco” and is backed with remixes by Martin Dubka and Drop Out Orchestra.

Bursting from the digital underground is Majestique, a Dutch production duo that grew up in the mid eighties. After they ran into each other, they discovered a shared passion for strange chords, running arpeggiators and dusty drum computers. A passion that is possibly programmed in their brains by influencers like Jean Michel Jarre, Vangelis and Giorgio Moroder. With sudden access to unlimited analog machines, it felt like a higher power was trying to tell these guys it was time to create something timeless in a digital era where music is consumed so quickly.

Must Get There is taken from the upcoming Eskimo compilation that will be out after summer.

One of many exciting new talents joining the Anjunadeep family this summer, San Francisco's Daniel Goldstein aka Lane 8 makes am impressive debut with the sunshine soaked deep house "Be Mine".

Coming to our attention via the finely tuned A&R ear of Jody Wisternoff, Lane 8 has been racking up blog hype by releasing a diverse stream of electronic funk via his Soundcloud account, ranging widely from Pet Shop Boys-influenced electronica, to reworks of classic 90's hip hop, to dreamy, trance-influenced deep house.

When the brilliant "Be Mine" dropped into our inboxes it was in instant win. With clean, classy production, understated but infectious grooves and a brilliantly hooky melody, the piano-kissed "Be Mine" slots perfectly into the current trend of high quality, uplifting deep house.

This summer we only have 2 releases. One is the Dirty Glam Jams EP by Munk.
5 Tracks that are like an “in between” release before Mr. Munky comes up with some big singles this winter.

The Dirty Glam Jams are Afro and Latin infected tracks. Made for wild disco beaches and hot terraces. Like some late 90ies Masters At Work tunes or the stuff DJ Harvey likes to play these jams are based on house but remind the mid seventies Deodato, Fela or Fania records stuff. Including an effective Moullinex remix.

As the name states Live at Robert Johnson is the associated label of the respected venue in Offenbach and incorporates what the club stands for. The imprint has been establishing a solid ground for the new Frankfurt sound since 2009. By featuring internationally acclaimed artists LARJ has been providing DJs and audiences with essential tunes in an extensive range of high-quality house music. Laid-back dance-floor awareness with a sense for particularity in sound is what might describe best most of the releases and artists.
