Hailing from Houston Tx, BXXNG pronounced BEING is a group formed by 4 veterans of Houston’s underground Hiphop community. A generation that saw hip hop evolve from analog to digital and from vinyl to laptops.

The group consists of Mc’s Nosa and Brew with DJ Comp and production by Grinch.

BXXNG is grounded in hip hops roots while crafting a sound and style that’s something entirely new. They have been inspired by others such as Slum Village, Outkast, De La Soul and Little Brother.

Nosa’s sharp delivery and Brew’s smooth flow create a balance over the MPC layered beats of Grinch and cuts by DJ Comp 1, their first single SWISHERS dropped in the spring with 2 for .99 a two track pack following shortly after.

The groups live shows are high energy and engaging! Already sharing the stage with Bay Area legends Souls Of Mischief, Nas Illmatic producer Large Professor and Houston heavy weights Devin The Dude and Swisha Houses Michael 5000 Watts.

BXXNG is creating a higher state of being while Building a New Generation.

Trumpet, harp, saxophone, bass guitar, and many other instruments extend the musicianship and scope of his latest works, defining a bridge between electronic, hip-hop, and jazz in a very personalized and technical form. 
Garnishing recent love from BBC, KCRW, The FADER, L.A. Record, XLR8R, self-titled, WWFM, NestHQ, The Wire, and Amoeba Records, Elusive has become a force to be reckoned with and continues his prolific path of album releases with over a dozen albums, EPs, and singles launched in the last four years alone. Elusive has called Alpha Pup Records and Dome of Doom home for many years now, producing his best work to date under the LA based labels. As a frequent contributor Low End Theory's decade plus run of weekly showcases, Elusive walks in the same footsteps as Ras G, Samiyam, TOKimonsta, Dibiase, Jonwayne, Mono/Poly, Daedelus and so many more.

POLAR ENTERTAINMENT, LLC is the brainchild of Producer/DJ  J Rawls. J Rawls has been involved in the music scene professionally since 1997. That is when he received his break; producing two tracks ("Brown Skin Lady" and "Yo Yeah") on the Black Star album featuring Mos Def and Talib Kweli. 

Now the label is home to Up and Coming artists Ceezar & Satele (theFWD); Brittany NaCole; and veteran Bombeardo.
