This time we have decided to pay tribute to Electro records and to its "Electro Transmission" series. We say goodbye to this iconic electro label since its founder, Alek Stark, decided to close it down and run away with the money that many fans paid for pre-orders. Yes, we are also included in this list of deceived people. It's a very sad story, to be honest, as Electro and its parent, Fundamental records, were unique in some way. So many records, with amazing designs and great music have been released. Everything was done with love & passion and finally it all ended badly because of one man's greed. What a drama. We express our sincere respect to all the artists who recorded music for this record label and to all fans ! In music we trust !

For RR041 we are joined by Tygre, a.k.a. Andreas, who ventured into DJing back in 1995, starting his musical journey crafting mix tapes and spinning drum and bass in Philadelphia's underground rave scene. Currently based in San Francisco, Andreas combines his love for music with his studies in computer science. Operating under the alias Tygre (@djtygre), he immersed himself in the darker realms of electro, techno, and drum and bass from 1997 to 2000. After a prolonged hiatus, Tygre, inspired by the hypnotic sounds of electro, techno, and drum and bass, is back to spread his passion for music, the art of mixing, and the creation of mesmerizing sonic journeys.

Boris is a DJ & producer from Greece, based in Paris. An artist truly devoted to the original underground techno sound and culture, mostly influenced by early electro, synth wave, industrial, broken rhythms, FM synths and cinematic lo-fi distorted and absurd soundscapes. After spending many years in the UK and Serbia he got involved with collecting records, making tracks, exploring sounds from various sources and field recordings, strongly bonded with a unique vision and character regarding true expression through music in a greater spectrum.
