Henry has his own YouTube channel (very, very good btw) which he dedicates to sharing music from his own multi-genre collection that’s yet to be released online. In his own words, it’s his way of giving back to the online digging community that’s provided him with such great music over the years. Lovely stuff.

It’s a real pleasure for MHR to bring you Henry’s debut podcast mix ‘Deep Down in the Dub’. A Ronseal title for a mix that provides exactly what it says on the tin.

The Lizecast is a monthly episode representing our desires in sound as a label and artist collective. Each episode features a one to two hours sound conglomerate by one of our befriended producers and djs.

We are very happy! This month's Lizecast will be one "Finest Hour" for sure :)

We stumbled across this good man and his label Finest Hour - which he is running together with his good friend Pablo Tarno - by checking out an amazing amount of stickers all over the french connection house where Pablo also lives.

Fede started his quest into sound in 2002 by digging up wax in the record stores of Brussels. Starting from a darker sound with a melancholic edge he then sunk into anything that he liked including house but also rock, soul, disco or jazz. You can hear this fascination in trippy and dreamy atmospheres in his sound that is based on this wide range of influences.

In 2007 he moved to London and quickly became part of the East London bubble hosting a monthly event at Corbet Place and being invited to crucial warehouse shananigans like Toi Toi Musik, Half Baked or Lokee or clubs like Fabric or Cafe1001.

In May 2012 Onirik moved to our beautiful city where he also finalised his debut EP on Serialism. In 2013 Pablo and Fede started to embrace their own project, Finest Hour Records, which launched in December 2013 with a first release by Audio Werner that went quickly "through the roof" how we say in German jaaaaaa.

In the meantime Fede has had gigs in various clubs in Berlin such as Watergate, Club der Visionaere and Renate or internationally in Monasterio or Blkmarket Membership. His sound is a driving and hypnotic balance between house and techno, raw and trippy.

LIZECAST 013 - by Onirik

We're super happy to have our friend Teddy on board for the third mix in our Sounds Nice series. We first heard Ted play at Dusty Flyers Club last summer. He impressed us so much that we asked him to contribute to our series as soon as he finished his set! 

The end result did not disappoint, it's a lovely journey through downtempo, breakbeat and into some creamy house. His dedication to digging is highly evident in this mix and he's firmly on our list as someone to watch out for in the years to come. We hope you enjoy!
