A genuine music industry renaissance man, Michael Behm is a producer’s producer. Having achieved success in many diverse areas of the business he is now based between Nicaragua and Vancouver. Michael Behm was nominated for songwriter of the year by Socan and the BCCMAs.
He has co-written many songs with such legendary Nashville writers as Pamela Oland, (Frank Sinatra, Aretha Franklin) and Ralph Murphy. Behm's current collaborators include, Darude; Risto; Star Labs Sweden; Russian based Dimitry; Larry Wayne Clarke (they've written a song for American Idol star Scotty McCreery) and young Vancouver writer Kate Morgan. One of Michael's most fruitful creative partnerships has been with British guitar hero Steve Morris. A member of The Ian Gillan Band, Morris has written extensively with former Deep Purple singer Gillan. Over the past three years, the Morris and Behm team have created over 150 tracks for other artists and for film and television soundtracks.
Through his extensive recording background, Behm has developed a very strong sense of what makes a song great. "One thing I've learned producing is that without a compelling vocal and groove a song will never be much of anything. When a song has emotional meaning that people can connect with, that is always a good foundation. I want the songs I work on to be epic, to have emotional high water marks. I use a lot of different instruments in my productions, from full orchestra with violins and cellos through to ebo, ukulele and bongos. Using whatever instrument and sound that will best serve the song is paramount to creating music that will be remembered."
Behm is truly international in his vision. He regularly works in studios in Nashville, Los Angeles and Vancouver at Blackbird, Oceanway studios, and (Bryan Adams' The Warehouse Studios, and The Armoury (the facility started by Bruce Fairbairn), as well as his own well-equipped San Juan Del Sur, Nicaragua based studio.

Our mission is to serve the Lord through Words and Music. The Name Disciple 13 comes from the book of John 13:35. "By this everyone will know that you are my Disciples if you love one another". and Mathew 28:19 " Therefore Go make Disciples of All Nations, Baptizing them in the Name of the Father the son and of The Holy Spirit". The Band members are all followers of the Lord . We are all involved with serving at Celebrate Recovery in Central California. Our songs speak of recovery and Victory over past sins and issues that have taken its toll on our lives. Our sound is closer to Classic Rock.Robert Orndoff has had some success in the Music Business and has worked with many successful rock artists . Like Ron Blair Bassist for Tom Petty and the Heart breakers, Ron Blair was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2012. Ron Blair played keyboards on track #5 of the CD titled 'Welcome Back my Savior'. Stevie Salas is a world famous Guitarist and producer . He produced this CD and played guitar solos on track #3 One Day at A Time and Track #5. Stevie Salas was the guitarist for Justin Timberlake's Gold record " Dead and gone". Stevie was the Musical Director for American Idol up until 2011. He also was the guitarist for Rod Stewart,Eddie Money, Mick Jagger, to name a few. Bernard Fowler background singer for The Rolling Stones and currently touring with them on their 2013 tour, sang Background vocals on several of the Tracks.Robert Orndoff gave his heart to the Lord in early 2009. These Friends and Brothers used their gifts to help Robert Orndoff and Disciple 13 make a Top Notch quality recording. The other members of Disciple 13 are Nate Grisby on Drums, Steve Jones Bassist, keyboards Randy Robinson, Lead Guitar Alan Yerxa.The CD was recorded at Big Fish Studios in Southern California. this is where Norah Jones,Blink 182 ,recorded their hit records. Christian artists 'Switchfoot' recorded two gold records at Big Fish as well as' POD' and 'As I Lay Dying'.
