The legend of South America's music is one of vibrant rhythms, passionate melodies, and diverse cultural influences. It's is a celebration of life. The music is also shaped by its indigenous roots, with traditional instruments like the charango, quena, and bombo adding unique textures to it. 
It is said that the music originated from the indigenous people of the Andes, who used it as a way to express their culture and traditions. The legend goes that the music was inspired by the natural sounds of the Andean landscape, including the wind, the rain, and the flowing rivers.

One of the most famous Andean instruments is the pan flute, which is said to have been created by the god Wiracocha. According to legend, Wiracocha made the first pan flute out of the bones of his dead children, and the music that came from it was so beautiful that it could bring the dead back to life.

Today, Andean music is still celebrated and enjoyed throughout South America and beyond. Its haunting melodies and intricate rhythms continue to captivate listeners and serve as a reminder of the rich cultural heritage of the Andean people. Especially because the music continues to thrive, with new generations of artists blending traditional sounds with modern influences to create exciting new styles. Welcome to Folktronica / Electrocumbia.

Landing back in Germany, my heart and spirit are asking directly again for South and Central America. So I felt I have to share the beautiful vibe of the music which inspired me a lot while traveling through so many countries. It's a beautiful downtempo journey which I hope will sweeten up your upcoming summer! Enjoy the sun on your skin, move your hips or just relax in your hammock, drinking a fresh coconut, smelling the unique copal or palo santo - a reminder for the magnificent • leyenda • of these sacred lands.

This 3 hour journey was recorded in the sweet morning hours of the Ambyss Stage, in the middle of the vortex portal that was and is OZORA Festival:  

Lovingly named a "Psychedelic Tribal Gathering", this visionary festival really cracked my artist-heart & elder-raver-spirit open...I had multiple moments of releasing tears from the beauty around me:  from the exquisite electronic music, to the visionary art surrounding me, to all of the diverse open-hearted humans swimming in my field:  reminding me of the spiritual roots of house-music and rave-culture that shaped me in the late 90's, and continues to shape me...such a blessing to receive this medicine.

To be able to weave my musical contribution into this rich-tapestry was an honor, and enlivened my artistic spirit (who does not enjoy formulas or being put into boxes)...I loved being in an open space of infinite possibilities, and I bow to the open minds & souls that received these frequencies:  journeying between Ambient, Medicine Music & no tracks above 90 bpm, creating a sweet-womb-cocoon for the morning.

Deep gratitude to the OZORA krew, especially @bodoo for inviting me (and curating so beautifully) & beloved OZORA family @mike-stellar, Nina & Mestre Braima Galissá for rooting me in tribe vibes <3

Live @ Medicine Festival 2024

I am making the set in memory of Isidor...
I found Izidor, a wonderful cat, two weeks ago in a street in Nagymaros in a very bad condition. I took her to the doctor, but unfortunately she was already terminally ill, so I adopted her and stayed with her on last journey. She passed away on the evening of 31 October and was buried the following day, 1 November.
These 2 weeks have been very emotional for me, I am very sad, but at the same time I am very happy to have found her. And especially that she was finally recognised by a former friend of her former owner, who loved she very much, and we laid her to rest in her lovely garden.
I will love Izidor forever, as I love all animals....
Isidor's name means: GIFT OF ISIS
Izi was a real gift❤
And the Goddess Isis is the birth mother of all living things, the Mother Mother, the embodiment of the Feminine quality in Egyptian mythology. Child of Geb and Nut, sister and whife of Osiris, mother of Horus.
I had a motherly devotion to her, she passed away in love. And though she left, she returned at last to the place where she was once much loved❤
I tell my feelings and the story of Izi on the waves of music.

This set was created to support contact dance practice, guiding participants on a journey through diverse cultures and rhythms. 
It's designed to inspire the exploration of new forms of expression and connection, encouraging everyone to break away from rooted patterns and embrace free, authentic movement.

Between The Lines is an exploration of the spaces where reality and imagination blur into one another. The project blends hypnotic rhythms, soulful melodies, and vibrant percussive energy, creating a soundscape that is both intimate and expansive. Each track is designed to capture the feeling of drifting between dreams and truth — moments of vulnerability, passion, and release. With its mix of deep grooves, uplifting hooks, and immersive textures, the album offers a journey that feels timeless yet urgent, pulling listeners into a world where fantasy and reality merge on the dancefloor and beyond.

This is a French (my mother tongue) EPx17 song for those who’d rather be awake than reassured—the ones who’d rather KNOW & GROW than BLOW & SHOW blindly, even if “Some Truths Are Harder to Swallow” 🍌💦  i.e. my BJ (banana joke:) sister-song of “L’Embobinage”… 

The lyrics are rooted in one of Carl Sagan’s most haunting and relevant psychological insights: 

“One of the saddest lessons of history is this: 
If we’ve been bamboozled long enough, we tend to reject any evidence of the bamboozle. We’re no longer interested in finding the truth. The bamboozle has captured us. It’s simply too painful to acknowledge (even to ourselves) that we’ve been taken. Once you give a charlatan power over you, you almost never get it back.”
