The rain was pouring down and not a soul could be seen at the stage.    Slowly, they emerged, looking a little wet and a lot tired.  I made it up onto the stage scaffolding and team members started trying to get the generator working.  I was living on infinite patience and low expectations and it worked for me.  I wiped down their rain spattered mixer and allowed myself to enjoy the moment.  It made me smile.  

The generator (their second one?) started humming and a thumbs up appeared!  I pressed record and it all started.  The rain dissipated and the sun started shinning!  The beats and the sunbeams brought the people out to the stage and it happened!  It was such an honour to start the vibe at Ironic Spin.

Being part of the music scene for over 2 decades, Löblová made her DJ leap to the stage at a perfect little festival in the Cowichan Valley in 2018.  As an emerging West Coast DJ, making a name for herself locally and beyond, she is known for sets offering something a little different and always from a place of musical inspiration.  Often weaving traditional and natural elements, Löblová's sets range from downtempo, afro/deep/organic/melodic house techno and trance, deep & dub techno, with a current healthy obsession of breaks and breakbeat.  Enjoying many genres, she is excited to curate each sound journey tailored to the specific theme and energy for the event.
