At a time when the world is at the edge of dark
upheavals, La Forge continues to build its own
metaverse by sharing with you its latest gems from
French club music. In the grooves of jungle, techno
or trance, this opus takes the form of an initiatory
journey where the reveries of some and others
merge in joyful zones of turbulence.
On board this celestial vessel, 13 tracks made by
talented craftsmen: Bruit Fantôme, CLAP42, D3M0R,
FIDY, Healing Noises, Hit HZ, Indigo Persona, JKS &
Shonen Bat, Marino, Metrolog, Nigm, Soul Edifice &

As much driven by experimentation and the science
of sound-design as by the vision of ecstatic
dancefloors, the alchemy of this compilation, in
which everyone will find something to their liking,
is once again the result of a manifest eclecticism.

NYC’s Sha Ru heads to Tapefeed’s Inveterate Records for a new club-focused EP which channels their experiences of overcoming the fear while the band is exploring singing in English. The intensity of this fear is showcased on ‘Moi’ as it continues to build in tension over the course of the track whilst the vocal comes in and out of focus. 

Comprised of Ma Sha and Rù, the pair live and work together between NYC and Berlin. Masha is the founder behind the much-loved label and party series Kindergarten Records who we’ve featured quite regularly on the site. Between them they’ve released music via Infinite Machine, Pressure Dome, Sorry Records, Shubzin and Progressive Future.

He didn't give much away, his mouth said one thing and his eyes another. She couldn't work out if this was just in his character or if he just had no interest in communicating with her; either way it intrigued her to no end, she wanted to get to the bottom of it. Rather than deter her, his dark eyes and his icy stare drew her further in. There was something behind it, a story that needed to be told, and she wanted to be the one to hear it...

Hard at work since 2008, Egyptian producer Hassan Abou Alam has shared his musical fruits with the world via labels like Rhythm Section, Naive and Banoffee Pies, which explore and blur the borders between breakbeat, techno and bass. For his next outing, he lands on Rinse resident Roni's Nehza Records with a new four-track EP called Ice, that once again showcases his versatility as a producer. Crafted using a mixture of analog and digital gear, the resulting tracks are packed full of textural sounds, meticulous drum work, fx saturated vocals and squelchy bass.

The Lyon-based DJ and producer Hyas perceives and feels the dancefloor with a pure, sensitive and brainy wisdom, and this is where he makes a difference. This 8-tracks tape out on 99CTS is an absolute ride, crossing bass music interludes and breaks-and-jungle textures. Out Of This World breaks into an otherworldly universe, which the flawless analog grain is sound shaping this 8-tracks odyssey. Hyas has a rare gift for making mind-bending patterns as danceable as it is striking, that entirely blow you all the way long. This tape rises a progressive fiction, between collapse and grace, where juke, drum & bass, dubstep, UK garage and juke composed only ring a bell : the dancefloor call.

Multidisciplinary artists Lex Rütten and Jana Kerima Stolzer alias A2iCE & BO3 are the faces behind Paryìa records’ fourth release – further manifesting Paryìa's role as a genre-bending entity while also expanding the artist’s respective portfolio. The debut EP Extracted Soil unites four enthralling tracks with broken beats and evocative percussions as the common denominator, including a remix by Mor Elian.

With this release Paryìa brings together sound, art and physical elements, conceptually working around the artist's exhibitions, combining different formats and creating space to break out of conventions and experiment freely.
