Today we are proud to announce In-house label 'Another Name's second release 'Et Andet Sted Tribute Album - AN01'. A collection of 22 tracks from artists who have played or been connected to the former DIY rave club in the old vegetable market of Copenhagen, a place called “Et Andet Sted”. The release stretches out and explores the diverse outer reaches of what Copenhagen underground scene is all about, starting with distorted experiment sound, four-to-the-floor house, signature fast techno and trance euphoria.
The album comes in two fully packed CDs with the artwork which will tickle some warm memories of countless hours spent o the dancefloor of the club. The compilation album will also be available in a digital version.

About the club: Et Andet Sted was a unique free space for creative souls, DJ’s and ravers. The place for this sonice parallel universe existed for eith month only but it gave the birth to many new inspirations, music carriers and friendships. It was demolished due to gentrification. It is and will forever be missed.

About the label: Another Name is the in-house label of Copenhagen based nightclub: Ved siden Af, The music representing the sound of the club, the artists that frequent our space and the culture it supports.

RTD runs the monthly Soft Spots radio show on Echobox Radio, where he and guests explore a genre that they have a particular soft spot for. In the second half, he shares a selection of peak time heat. All vinyl, recorded in Amsterdam, on a chilly 3 degrees Friday night.

Floating between Cairo, Canada and Berlin, Zeina has dedicated many years to build and help flourishing the Egyptian underground scene, also putting the focus on supporting female artists, like with her Unfamiliar nights.  For us she crafts an elegant journey, at the borders of house and techno, both for the head, the body and soul.

Eksish is an enthusiasts of underground sounds, with an insatiable passion for unearthing hidden gems from the darkest corners of the electronic music landscape. As a DJ, her charm lies in her ability to blend groovy and deep sounds, whether it is minimal, electro or deep club weapons, she seamlessly flutters between old and new to form her distinctive sound. She is a SWUfm resident and a founder of ‘Atypical’- a club night which has been pushing the Bristol’s music scene forward with bookings such as Vlada, Z@P & Ogazon. Having already made her mark on a number of prestigious platforms including Resident Advisor, Fuse, Hidden, Stump to name a few, her masterful command of all things house and techno have seen her share the stage with artists like Zip, Vlada, Raresh, The Ghost & Radioactive man.

Almost 4 years to the day, our Breathecast crawled forth from the primordial soup, and since its miraculous conception, it has provided us with 23 splendid audio recordings from artists across the globe. 

Today it continues to give, with its 24th mixtape coming from French crate digger, Laure. Her mixing prowess and penchant for niche and rare sonicisms has established her as a revered DJ in the ears of those who know. She also recently set up a label, Pitched Peach, with the first release coming soon from Darwin Chamber.
