Summer Rain was produced and recorded in collaboration with Mackenzie Bunch. The song rings true to an indie pop ballad with its freak-folk genre and slow sentimental nature. Julián pours his heart and soul into Summer Rain, telling the story of a wary lover who grows and gives into the depths of love. The story is brought to life by bright acoustic guitar chords, soft-jazzy drums and paired with a whimsical, light-hearted whistle. 

Written during Covid lockdown, Julián hopes that Summer Rain inspires listeners to never give up on love, even during hard times. The song was written with Julián’s focus on valuing the present moment and staying positive above all.
