Umbrae Vitae is a ritual descent into shadow — not as death, but as the hidden vessel of life.
This chapter of the Arkanæa continuum summons ancestral memory through deep drones, cavern percussion, duduk laments, and layered whispers that echo like breath across stone.

Each track is a rite:

⟐ Fons Obscurus — the dark fountain flowing beneath
⟐ Sanguis Vetus — the ancient blood remembering
⟐ Anima in Tenebris — the soul, eternal in darkness

Excited to finally release music through our Lo-fi Clouds imprint.

None other than our good friend, the Bordeaux-based producer @EasyDeviance, has the honor to kickstart our singles series with the majistic ‘misty’. The track takes you straight to the haziest day of the year, watching snowflakes drop from the sky knowing that there is no way to avoid the darker and hopefuly whiter days of the years. Sit back, brew some tea and turn on your speakers – winter is coming!

‘Misty’ is produced with samples which Vincent aka Easy Deviance has created, recorded and mastered himself. Easy D was kind enough to agree on making his work publicly available for other artists to get inspired and hopefully benefit. The sample pack containing 52 samples will be dropping Friday December 4th 2020 via bandcamp: https://lo-ficlouds.bandcamp.com/

In parallel with the release of Easy D’s sample pack, we decided to also run a beatmaker competition for 6 weeks starting Friday 4th of December. Winners will see their beat released and made available on all major platforms alongside a 7″ vinyl copy of the their track and various other lofi clouds goodies.
