Cut one of RAYS honoring the heralding trumpet of the Archangel Michael.  Hold the image of the current head of the angelic triumvirate trumpeting down from the Heavens upon a Chariot of Golden Light pushing aside the confounding darkness of the Luciferic Dragon.

Fifth cut of RAYS honoring the constellation of the same name.  This is an open ended improvisation over the 16 note journey sequence in A minor.  This was composed for the Birth of Venus concert series that was done in the Planetarium of the Bishop Museum.  Imagine lying back contemplating the Heavens from your favorite high place or within the domed walls of your local planetarium.

Digitaria are no amateurs when it comes to creating memorable and unique dance floor hits.

After putting out albums on both Hot Creations and International DJ Gigolos, the duo now make their debut on Items & Things with the expertly crafted and undeniably authentic EP, "Starburst Poems".

For those who don't know, Digitaria is a Brazilian duo who came together in 204, creating dance music with a big range of influences, creating beautiful and unusual tunes. Since their first officila release 'Teen Years' in 2006, the duo has put out EPs, albums, and toured literally every corner of South America. We jumped at the opportunity, embracing the theme "Heavy Mellow" to curate a unique selection that showcases the seriously sublime soundscape of Hawaii's musical palette: new age and folk from the 1980s; psych from the 1970s; hip hop from the 1990s and 2000s; funk and soul from the 1970s.
