CYU [kjuː] … is not an acronym for “see you” but rather made up by the basic idea of the project: Check Your Understanding! Tobi and Ronald’s intention is sharing their conception of electronic music, infecting others with their dedication and encourage others to give other perspectives room to evolve.

The common vision of individual and unique electronic dance music brought the two guys together on their way. The intersection of their ideas expanded their view of their own sound, bringing it to a new level, far from the musical stereotypes and chasing new trends.

SYMO is a Cape Town-based DJ, producer, and label manager at Imprint, delivering raw energy and precision within the underground music scene. Rooted in Techno and Psytech, his sound blends hypnotic rhythms, rolling basslines, and deep, driving intensity — with a production style that leans into the dark, minimal, and bouncy edges of techno.

With performances across iconic stages and festivals including Earth Dance, Twilight Festival, Summer Camp, Obsidian, Root Festival, Modular, And Club, Halo, and more, SYMO has become a dynamic presence in the scene.

Signed to labels such as OMTECH, BeatCode, Imprint and Lucidkat Records,  he continues to push sonic boundaries through both his sets and studio work. Fueled by a relentless passion for music, SYMO crafts immersive soundscapes — designed for the darkness.

Origins, the third album by The Chronicles of Manimal and Samara, is out now.

The Chronicles of Manimal and Samara (TCOMAS), a UK-based duo featuring Daphne Ang (Singapore) and Andrea Papi (Italy), emerged in London in early 2020. Their debut album, Full Spectrum, established their innovative fusion of poetry performance and heavy music, creating a unique form of expression that has become synonymous with TCOMAS.
TCOMAS's sophomore album, Trust No Leaders, released on July 1, 2022, explores the history of metal, paying tribute to various subgenres. Set against orchestral and cinematic landscapes, the songs also incorporate non-Western musical influences. The lyrics draw inspiration from contemporary and classical poetry, as well as Jungian psychology.
