In "The Floating Garden," I've ventured into a realm where generative synths and the spirit of ambient music converge to create a magical, calming oasis. This single is a reflection of my journey, infused with a tiny touch of neoclassical elegance amidst the vast expanse of classic ambient landscapes. I aimed to cultivate an environment that invites listeners to float away into a serene, ethereal garden of their own making. I hope it brings you the same solace and wonder it brought me during its creation.

Ultimae proudly presents "Gneiss", a first solo EP on the label for Danish composer Tore Kofod Hyldahl aka Erot after his participation on Martin Nonstatic's "Granite Remixes" and releases on labels such as Iboga Records, Altar and Fallen Metropolis.

The emotive and abstract musical tale invites the listener to escape perception, understanding and apprehend the vast of music, of nature, time and space. Grounded yet floating freely, the chiselled rhythms and the evanescent pads create the cradle of contrasts in which one can let himself be lulled and carried away on a deep and delicate journey. Erot welcomes aboard space ambient and downtempo initiates Henrik Rolsted Laugesen and Vincent Villuis, respectively known as Lauge and AES Dana to fuel the experience with extra cinematic atmospheres and beats.

"The strenuous conquest of the top, the splendor of a landscape that slowly reveals in its dazzling beauty. In his new work, the Venetian based composer, guitarist and field recorder Enrico Coniglio leads us once again among his loved ones mountains: an epic landscape in which enchantment and fear are deeply intertwined. He chooses to do so offering us the sound as a sensory canvas of an imaginary enterprise with deliberately indefinite contours.

"Alpine variations" is a further step in the sound research carried out by the author in a long and complex path built over time inspired by environmental and atmospheric sounds.

A bewitching narrative emerges from the intersection of bright harmonic textures and dense ambient vapors crossed by restless shadows. The individual parts of this narration represent the stages of an ascent that is at the same time physical and spiritual. It is a nostalgic plot that in the partial roughness of its resonances returns the sense of precariousness of a bumpy path, poised between quiet contemplation and impending danger. 

The cinematic approach constantly reveals the genesis of an album originally built on a series of recordings dedicated to the creation of a film sound commentary that finally become an autonomous itinerary. Finally, all that remains is to close your eyes and prepare to face the journey".

Shibui is a simple, unobtrusive beauty that expresses original imperfection and intelligent restraint. The track titles are based on various polysemantic aspects of Japanese aesthetics and culture.

Miyabi – elegant, understated sophistication.

Raku – The art of hand-molding ceramics, which allows each piece to have its own unique, rough, uneven appearance and texture.

Wabi – unpretentious simplicity.

Mono No Aware – the sad charm of things.

Iki – an elegant, refined manifestation of beauty that combines seductiveness, composure, and modesty.

Nendouryoku – psychokinesis and telekinesis.

Sabi – archaism, genuineness, authenticity, peace of mind in loneliness.

Sumi-e – monochrome ink painting.

Sayonara is not just a farewell, it is a word spoken when someone no longer expects to meet. It is a farewell forever.
