PLATA - ultrapop test (Extension)

WDDS returns to his own imprint Hectare Discs and is set to captivate once again with the release of Migration. This follows a string of mighty EPs on the label, as well as releases with Woozy & Accidental Meetings.

Migration is a sonic embodiment of WDDS' personal journey from the coastal tranquility of Brighton to the vibrant urban energy of Manchester, featuring collaborations with friends and fellow artists he encountered along the way. It marks a new chapter in his musical trajectory and reflects his artistic evolution and diverse influences, embodying the vast range of his sound palette.

'Moving Freely' pays homage to the golden era of dubstep while seamlessly weaving in elements of drone and techno. This track exemplifies WDDS' ability to honour the past while pushing musical boundaries, resulting in an auditory experience transcending genres.

Premiere: WDDS - Moving Freely [Hectare Discs Recordings]

"ABOUT US." is the latest project from one of the most recognizable producer-DJ duos, Catz 'n Dogz. 
The artists have invited collaborators from Poland's electronic music scene, associated with the LGBTQ+ community.

Much like their previous projects, this one by Catz 'n Dogz is anchored in similar values: equality, unity, and the embrace of community. The culmination of this broad collaboration will manifest in a compilation of twelve tracks tailored for this occasion, complemented by a film featuring prominent figures from the scene who are instrumental in invigorating cultural life across numerous Polish cities and engaging in activism. The project has joined forces with the "Love Does Not Exclude Association", an NGO dedicated to advancing marriage equality in Poland.

The compilation will be released by Pets Recordings, with cover art created by acclaimed polish illustrator and graphic designer Ola Jasionowska.

"ABOUT US." originates from a longing to showcase Poland's vibrancy and joy to a wider global audience, offering a refreshing contrast to media narratives primarily fixated on political matters. Catz 'n Dogz have been steadfast supporters of the LGBTQ+ community and have thrived within the club scene, benefiting greatly from the reciprocal support of this community.

Therefore, the project is a tribute to those who have experienced social exclusion in recent years, for whom the music environment has always been a powerful source of support. It celebrates new communities centered around personalities such as BOŻNA, LAVAXXX, Twoja Stara, and the increasingly popular duo IKARVS. We will also hear from An On Bast, Baasch and Avtomat. This creative ensemble is complemented by Kitty Sarcasm, Cougar, Iwona Skv, GIGEE, and Max Skiba. Additionally, besides Catz 'n Dogz, the compilation will feature Wojtek's solo project—Ketiov—which he has been developing in Madrid over recent years.

The “ABOUT US.” project embodies a socially conscious campaign promoting a more positive image. This is the Poland we celebrate through dance!

Entire proceeds from the album sales will support the statutory activities of Love Does Not Exclude Association - working towards achieving marriage equality in Poland.
