Thanks bruv, means a lot. I actually started out on FL years ago. I would say the best way to learn is just to educate yourself on the basics. Read the forums, soak up knowledge. A great source is the production bible available on Dubstepforum.com.

Also, writing music requires patience and understanding. The best way to gain understanding about your synths and sound design is to just play around with them, trying different things and learning what each knob does. It won't sound very good at first but once you have a good grasp on what you are doing, you will be able to fine tune the sound and shape it how you like. I think that this can't be taught very easily though, it has to be learned and the only way to learn it is to do it, a lot.

Started in 2018 by multi-instrumentalist Travis Wagner, fendz is a unique genre bending music & art project that demands attention. After moving to Kalamazoo, Michigan, fendz played their debut sold-out show at Papa Pete’s  and announced that DJ/promoter Patrick McKenzie aka Large Mouth BASS would be joining the group while showcasing their collaborative debut album "Consume", solidifying fendz’ place in the Michigan music scene. Having gained traction on social media in their first year, fendz’ music has appeared in numerous artist mixes and playlists, including Liquid Stranger’s Wakaan Spotify playlist as well as playing high-profile shows and festivals. The project continues to evolve, adding vocals and other live elements, resulting in a diverse, eclectic discography that reflects their individual influences and their combined love for music.

In 2021, they followed up with the quaking dubstep EP “Are You Afraid of the Dark?”, then treading into new waters with the alternative EP “Chemicals”, pushing their genre-bending tendencies even further. This was solidified with the release of their crowd-pleasing single "Just One Time", featuring Travis's signature vocals and fellow producer/friend TechTonic on saxophone.
