New Zealand-producer Sanoi drops 'Loose Change' EP, a collection of high-energy, dance-floor-focused tracks which align more closely with Sanoi’s club and DJ sets. 

The new EP arrives via Loop Electronic, the new sub-label from Loop Recordings Aot(ear)oa.

The EP kicks off with ‘Shipwrecked’, a track created especially for last summer’s Shipwrecked Festival, NZ’s premier gathering for underground house and techno. Influenced by Giorgio Moroder and nights spent in Berlin clubs, the track has since been a staple of Sanoi’s live sets.

Sanoi unveils his latest single, ‘It Might Take Some Time’, taken from the forthcoming album Augenblick. Built around a playful synth motif, the track is textural, melodic, unhurried.
Unfolding patiently, it layers delicate melodies over a gentle percussive groove before introducing a warm, grounding bassline as momentum builds. Reminiscent of early Bonobo and Four Tet, this is late-night headphone music that also carries weight on a proper system.
With ‘It Might Take Some Time’, Sanoi continues to refine his melodic sensibility, drawing on his house and techno roots while embracing a more reflective, downtempo palette. The result is both meditative and kinetic, adding another distinctive chapter to his genre-blurring catalogue.

Wellington-based producer Zuke returns with a new rework from his acclaimed debut album Come Closer (Dec 2024), a fresh take on the album’s downtempo gem ‘How We Met’, remixed alongside long-time collaborator Dylan C.

Where the original drifted with haunting Rhodes chords and a deep, meditative atmosphere, the Dylan C & Zuke Remix drives the track towards the dancefloor. Lifting the tempo, the duo reshape it into a hypnotic organic house groover, with inspired elements of acid house & dub echoes.

This marks the first official release for Dylan C & Zuke , a pairing well-known for their hybrid live/DJ performances across New Zealand festivals and club shows over the past six years. The remix captures the essence of those sets: deep, melodic, and immersive, yet always underpinned by energy and movement.
