All concerned come with hot reputations and backing from the globe’s greatest DJs – standard qualifications when it comes to passing the Clarisse test – so without further ado, let’s hit play and get into the magnificent seven…
 
‘Baby New’ by ACA (YU) brings home the bacon with a deep and funky roll out featuring brandy-flavoured R&B samples giving you that look across the dancefloor. Live and direct from Ibizan scenery, the Serbian DJ and vocalist gets things shaking like a summertime cocktail, so drink it in.


Kidoo doing the ‘Cha Cha’ is a 100% carnival trigger, luxurious Latin house from the respected Romanian spinner that’s full of babbling bongos and chatty horns – a groove gliding around the sands, sized up by larger-than-life vocals looking to get lucky. 
 
Up next bringing some Malaga magic, Spega follows his own advice on ‘Dontstoppp’. Launched from a throbbing bassline to crack clubs wide open with, stick-em-up samples and side orders of splintered sounds are programmed to bow down to that laser-guided low end.
 
Bouncing out of Brazil, Techin’s ‘Doux Jazzy’ reaches out to a laidback Parisian bar, taking in vocal samples of nonchalant style, and smart splashes of twinkling keys and warm chords. The track forges ahead with kicks and bass in a race to the terrace.


More South American flavour concludes the EP; the ‘Balsamic’ flavour belonging to the Argentinean Tides, brings the funk and an understated grace to the table: house hard at work that’s shaped by casual keys bubbling from below, and a jazziness that’ll delight crowds getting their sunshine shuffle on. An EP sure to be stuck on stereos and playlists seven days a week.

My friend Andrew Lakes and I created the first version of the 7vibes challenge. 
Here's the result of such a hard music production week, hope u enjoy!

7VibesChallenge Rules:

- Be open-minded and “crazy” if needed, push your creativity to the next level.
- Each day of the 7DC runs from 8 a.m. to 5 a.m. of the following day.
- You may complete a challenge the following day, but only once during the week.
- Every track must be at least 3 minutes long. The longest a song can last is 5:00.
- On one day of your choice, you must compose outside.
- Record yourself as proof that the challenge is properly completed.
- You can't listen to the other artist's tracks until the day of the meeting
- Allow AI for lyrics but not for the arrangement and the ideas
- 1 Music video ( you choose the song and the day)
- Most important: Have fun ;)
